Scotch Creek Cottages

Rented the pontoon boat. Greg and Cheryl were excellent to deal with and very helpful. Boat was great, pulled water toys no problem.We walked through the resort to get to dock and the resort is very well presented cabins looked nice and cleanWill be back.

My family enjoyed our stay!It is close to the lake, private and safe. The cabin we stayed was updated compared to what was on the website (bonus)! There was everything we needed to cook, towels, garbage bags etc.There is fun center 4 minutes away (we made the best out of it). Kamloops is an hour and few minutes away. Salmon Arm is 45 mins away as well! We went on a hike at Tsútswecw Provincial Park.I was there with my husband and 2 children and we were the only black family so it was awkward at times (including going to the market nearby) so I recommend if you are POC/BIPOC book with your crew (extended family/ another family). I’m not here to scream racism at all but we did have an incident where my daughter was playing in the playground and kids threw a bucket of sand on her head! My son got to play with other kids though so that warmed my heart!This is a great place I’m hoping to come back with my friends and extended family soon!

In July 2021, my wife and me spent 2 weeks in this family oriented, lakefront resort located on North Shuswap Lake. Although we went there just for the beach, the water and for a good rest, (we do not practice any aquatic activities), we enjoyed very much our stay. Of course, we took a boat ride on a Shuswap Lake, which was very enjoyable.This resort has a wonderful green space, a small beach and very clean cottages. It has been quiet and very relaxing. You really leave behind all your daily problems from home! Greg (the property manager), his wife Cheryl and their staff have been super-friendly, and helpful.What a pity that we had to stay only 2 weeks! We highly recommend this place and we are planning to return next year.Alex and Maria

We’ve been coming here for 3 years now. It’s such a great spot for families! Our kids never get bored, and the proximity to the provincial campground is perfect for fun bike rides. The resort is well kept, and you feel at home right away. We’ve come with other families and love that our kids have so much space to safely roam together. Looking forward to planning our next vacation here!

We rented a kayak from here for my nephews to paddle to copper island, even though we weren’t staying there. (I am local)He was very nice and rented us a really nice kayak. Was very thorough teaching the boys how to run the kayak. It was a 2 seater and had paddles for your feet. The boys had a blast!

Our family has been going to Scotch Creek Cottages since 1999 when our son was 2 years old and our daughter was 5. This past summer our son turned 19 and our daughter was 22 and though we have missed a few summer holidays at Scotch Creek along the way we have not missed many. It is a way for our family to join together for a week or two of easy living by the water. The facilities are fabulous, the location is exceptional, Greg and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and our children have had the experience of a cottage without the commitment that comes with owning. Each time back we reconnect with old friends and continue to make new ones as well. We highly recommend it to all and especially those with young families. You will make a lifetime of memories.

Not happy! Friend and I brought our daughters here for a fun getaway. Unfortunately mother nature had other plans. The fires in and around Kamloops had blown a thick toxic smoke over the area. You couldn't see halfway across the lake. Girls were coughing and Dads were feeling like it was time to pull the plug. Ended up leaving an evening early hearing the fires would be worsening overnight on the news. Unfortunately we had prepaid $850 to rent the Scotch Creek Pontoon boat the following day.I was shocked after calling Greg to try to work out a little refund on the boat that he wouldn't offer us anything. Not even a few hundred bucks as a gesture of good will I tried to make the case that due to an official air advisory it was unsafe to be out there....which it is.... He really didn't give a flying you know what. I guess there's two type of people in this world. Those with a heart and those without.

Absolutely perfect place for a family vacation. The cottages were well-kept and had all the comforts of home. The playground acted as a hub for all our kids and our friends kids so it never felt like they were out of reach. The dock and the trampoline were easily accessible and the water is a good depth for all swimmers. At night you can hang out on your front porch or go watch the stars by the water. Groceries and booze are minutes away plus lots of other fun activities nearby. Highly recommend.

This was the best location for our wedding and one of my now favorite vacation locations. Greg, the property manager was absolutely amazing and worked with us on every level, we couldn't have asked for any better. THANK YOU GREG!! The cabins are super clean and the kitchens are well stocked with all your kitchen needs. The grounds are well kept. We will be trying to make this a yearly vacation destination.
