By FAR the most affordable jewellery appraisal around and 6 star service.Sharon and Ellen were so wonderful to deal with, they were both extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Jewellery appraisals happen once a month and you recieve and full (and very fancy) certification for each appraised piece. I will absolutely be returning.

Our dear dog of 17 years had passed so I had wanted a special gift for my husband. Creative Goldsmith came to the rescue with this special creation of an ash-holder pendant, with a to-scale imprint of our dog's paw print! I can not express how grateful we are for such amazing work and care they took to create this. Every person who has seen this pendant and knows of the story how it was created, sheds a tear in full appreciation. Highly recommend for custom jewellery!

I originally purchased my ring at Ben Moss prior to it going under and coming back after being bailed out by a different company. We had purchased a lifetime warranty but it was voided after the company went under. Since then I keep losing small diamonds in my beautiful halo engagement ring. I had gone somewhere different the last time I lost a diamond and wasn’t happy with the repair - you could tell it had been repaired and I never liked that. Creative Goldsmiths was my goldsmith of choice this time as I saw they had amazing reviews. And I am so SO impressed with the quality of the repair on my ring. It looks identical to how it originally looked when I purchased it you can’t even tell they did a repair. They also polished and cleaned my ring so well that it looks brand new. Honestly, my ring hasn’t looked this good since the day my husband proposed and put it on my finger for the first time! Would highly recommend this company for all your ring repair and custom jewellery needs. I will definitely be going back!

Creative Goldsmiths did a wonderful job working with the jewelry I brought in that needed repaired and upgrades. Price was fair and completed in a timely manner. I would definitely purchase or have Smith work in the future. The store location is in a great easy to access strip mall on the Langley Bypass.

A neighbour had recommended Creative Goldsmiths based on work they had done for her. Creative helped me re-design and then they custom re-built a ring I had inherited from my mom. I am very pleased with the results. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. I actually give Creative 4.5 stars out of 5 for the work they did for me and would recommend them to others.

I was so impressed with my engagement ring! I showed a picture of the style of ring I liked to my fiance and the people at Creative made exactly what I was hoping for! They actually exceeded my expectations! When we went to look for our wedding bands, they were so helpful and friendly. It made it easy for us to choose the perfect ones! It fits! My engagement ring is beautiful!Initially, I had taken it elsewhere to get it resized and was not satisfied with the fit or look of the ring after it was worked on.I decided to take it to Creative Goldsmiths Ltd. because of the name of their company. The jeweler did an amazing job of resizing, rounding out and polishing my ring. I can now where it proudly.

Creative Goldsmiths has beautiful jewelry. They appear to take great pride in their custom work. I wish I could say the same for their services. My experience is that they don’t appear to hold themselves to the same standard for basic ring sizing based on what transpired with my wedding ring, which I’ve had for 10 years. While I was treated kindly by the salesperson Ellen, my experience with the work done was not great and interactions with the owner were worse. Use caution when using this store if you expect your jewelry to be returned to you in the same condition that you left it with them.After the sizing, my ring was not as thick in the area that had been cut as it originally was. The contouring of the band was also not smooth and an indentation could be felt. The owner described that the process after cutting the band and adding gold is to file and smooth out the area; not unlike how you would file away some of your fingernail. They offered to correct this, but the tone from the owner was definitely prickly.Upon picking up my ring I was pleased that the thickness appeared to restored and told them as such. Though I did point out that there were some dark spots on the band in a different area. They offered to polish it out but the owner brought my ring back after several minutes stating it would need to soak overnight showing me that the polishing compound had gotten into the diamond setting on the band causing it to be blackened. Again, she had an abrupt tone without offering a hint of an apology. I remained polite and extremely composed in that moment when many people wouldn’t.Here is the thing. When someone puts their trust into a jeweler for a basic sizing they shouldn’t be surprised if the individual would notice if there were unintended consequences that resulted in their ring looking worse than when they dropped it off. Wearing a wedding ring day-in and day-out makes us highly familiar with literally every aspect of it. Expecting that we would be ok with our jewelry being returned with imperfections that didn’t exist before is, frankly, ridiculous and upsetting. In the multiple times there, I'd had lots of time to look at all their jewelry and cannot imagine that they’d sell a new ring in the same condition they presumed to return mine. One would expect that they’d manage quality-control of their work proactively before they return a piece to a customer. This didn't happen.The owner’s tone was condescending throughout suggesting that it wasn’t a new ring and wouldn’t look perfect...even going to far to as to ask if my “problem had been fixed”. I pointed out that it was not my problem - that it was theirs. I was expecting a basic ring sizing. They alone were the source of the “problem”: over-filed ring band, uneven contouring and leaving dark polishing compound on the band to the point it settled around the stones. Perhaps they should put themselves in the customer’s shoes, consider the highly personal nature of jewelry and change thir approach and business standards to reflect more care and responsibility. I had specifically asked at the initial drop-off if my ring would match when the sizing was done and was assured it would.I have given one star because ultimately I did end up with sized-up ring that fits well but they did so with lack of professionalism and in a begrudging manner that doesn’t make me feel welcome to ever use their services again or recommend them to anyone.

Lovely people! We have used them for resizing rings twice as well as purchasing a new ring. Excellent service!
