We decided to enrol our 5-yr old for karate and we are so glad that we chose Senshi Academy. Sensei Sarah is absolutely amazing. She has been very accommodating, making sure our little guy gets some personal one-on-one time since he can be a little shy in social settings. Our son loves going here now and looks forward to it everyday. And for what you pay and what you get in return, it is an outstanding value. We highly recommend this place!

Attention and Caution other parents that need to cancel their camp once registered with this academy !!! Wanted to share my experience which has been quiet stressful. Firstly not true to their word, I had enrolled my daughter for the whole summer of 2022 at their camps early of 2022 in April . However when the camps started I wanted to withdraw 3 weeks due to a trip planned later than April and I asked them if I can withdraw and the owner, Sarah verbally said yes and that I had to put the request on the their website email which I did on the first week, I did not hear back from them so then on the third week I asked them verbally again and they gave me another email to send to and again I sent out the request , no answer again but I thought for refunds they take longer to process so I gave it a 2 - 3 week time wait , I did not hear back . After 4 weeks I sent them an email again and kept following up every 4 weeks. Since I got no reply , I tried to get all the email communications address with them and copied all in one email and wrote a long email for them to respond and this was in October I got a message that they will send in a cheque for the refund. I waited a month ...nothing in the mail , so I followed up again in December and now in January and no one has responded till date.I see in their website that now they need 40 days ahead of time to request for a cancellation for their 2023 .I have put my daughter in other camps with different before and also cancelled but I have not had any problems , as long as I gave a timely request for the cancellation.I know covid has been hard for businesses but it has been hard for parents as well.Senshi Academy I hope you read this review and will respond to my email and my request .

Buyer beware! If you are signing up for summer camps, be sure you will not need to cancel and ask for a refund. I signed up both my children for multiple weeks of summer camp before I realised I would be moving, then no longer needed the service. I have been asking for my refunds since April. And as of right now they still owe me $1000.00. I have emailed Sarah numerous times, most times she ignores my emails. She has promised to pay it back in full but this has yet to be seen. I am beyond frustrated and upset. A place I once brought my children to, now is a place that has shown me their word means nothing. I gave them plenty of warning with months ahead before summer camps started. I will never use their service again. They are happy to take your money but refuse to issue your refunds back in a reasonable amount of time, if ever. I hoped they would do the right thing but my faith is dwindling.

They are so amazing. My son has special needs so sports can be hard. They went above and beyond to find the perfect class where he is now doing amazing. He genuinely enjoys his classes. This is our first successful sport that was not private. I truly belive the reason is they really care. They have also taught him useful tools to use in his life.

Amazing staff. Very friendly, helpful and clean. 10/10 recommend. Great place for both kids and adults to learn Karate!
