I am off grid and I had been struggling with an aging solar system for years and had several solar “experts” trying to help me at great expense with terrible results. In February of 2019 I had a net metering solar system installed on my home in Parksville by Shift Energy Group. The installation and process of approval with BC Hydro was all taken care of. In a short time the system was making power not only enough for my own use but putting some on back on the grid- a great feeling. The Shift Energy Group were great to work with they answered all my questions did an efficient install in two days-impressive work! It was a positive experience all round.I just completed my first full monthly billing cycle since the installation and I was surprised at the credit in kWh I've already built up.

Recently had Shift Energy install a residential solar system. Matt who provided the initial estimate and explained the process from start to finish was excellent in helping understand the process. The actual system installers were professional and extremely friendly. We had 26 panels installed and the work was completed in three days from start to finish. The guys cleaned up after themselves each day and showed up when they said they were going to. Explained what they were doing each step of the way and answered all of our questions. A super crew. They even did a quick favour on the roof for us unrelated to the installation.The administration folks were also great in sending required paperwork as we were participating in the Canada Greener Homes Program and needed to coordinate with them.We were very impressed with the entire Shift Energy team and would highly recommend them.

The change to solar seemed scary and daunting at first but the guys at Shift made the upgrade painless and exciting. We choose to go with Shift because of great word of mouth, the quality of their work I'd seen in the field, expertise and of course competitive pricing. Our family decided to make the switch to solar because we purchased an electric car and were getting fed up with rising hydro costs. Our hydro bill has almost doubled in 10 years and we are sick and tired of being robbed by BC Hydro. The whole process was quick and seamless, we were only out of power for a couple hours. Tim did an excellent job of explaining the system to us and going over power generation estimates. The installation team were great too, nice guys and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend getting solar installed to anyone interested. My only regret is that we didn't make the switch sooner.

Everything about our experience with Shift was amazing! We started out with no expectations or underlying knowledge. We thought it was worth investigating since we were getting a new roof, but figured it would probably be too expensive. Well, the cost was lower than we expected and the benefit was higher!The whole process was very easy and painless to get a quote and then work together to refine it into the best possible solution for our situation. We got four quotes and Shifts was the most comprehensive, best warranty, and cheapest price too.Communication was prompt and excellent. Everyone I talked to was professional and knowledgeable and collaborative.Install was quick and easy and they went above and beyond by coming early one morning to shut off the power while I was dropping the kids off at school so I'd be able to work from home for the rest of the day. Absolutely excellent experience working with Shift Solar to make our family home Energy Resilient. Tim worked WITH us to find the right balance of Solar & Power Walls, along with design of a complete home Electrical upgrade. Steve coordinated the installation with our Electricians from Primary Electric, and now we are Future Proof. 39 Panels, 18kw Solar and 2 power walls more than powers our Home, hobbies, and our Electric Cars. Talk about fast payback on panels, they cover all our driving as well. Highly recommend working with Shift, I know we are well taken care of.

The estimate package Shift puts together for prospective clients is fantastic, and gives you both a short-term and long-term understanding of the cost and environmental/financial benefits of adding solar panels to your home.10/10, A++!

After considering several companies, we chose Shift’s Vancouver team for a rooftop system on our home in Delta. We were impressed by their comprehensive initial consultation, and their quote was lower than the competition… and with better quality components!They were informative and responsive throughout the initial consultation and design phases, including several revisions at my request (I kept wanting to add panels!) and lots of nerdy questions from me.The installation crew was easy-going, professional, and tidy. Everything was completed on schedule, and our 11.4 kw system has been soaking up free sun power for over 3 months. I’m a bit obsessed with the real-time monitoring app!Post-installation support (questions about net metering, documentation for the federal rebate) was great. We were very satisfied from start to finish.We’re glad we took the plunge to make this investment in our home and the environment, and very glad we chose Shift!
