Gayety Theatre is a great little theatre. Good sound, lighting and soft seats. I went to see Steve Michaels as Elvis and the show was amazing!! it was a sold out" show. Can't wait to come back again. P.s. friendly staff too!"

The Historic Gayety Theatre
What a great little theatre in the heart of downtown Collingwood. This building started out as a theatre in 1911 then changed to a movie theater and is now back to its original intent namely presenting live theatre. We went to see Barefoot in the Park and the the set was crisp, the seats were comfortable, the bar was open and the acting tremendous!Good thing is that they offer specials at the local dining establishments so keep your ticket stubs to get a rebate on your meal. All in all a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.

What an amazing show. Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan, Murray McLauchlan and Cindy Church put on a superbly crafted show, filled with iconic Canadian music, a refreshing absence of egos, and just a wonderful, laid-back vibe. The acoustic arrangements were excellent, with each member of the quartet sharing the spotlight equally. The stories between songs brought a genuine warmth and humor to the evening. Bravo to the entire staff for creating such a perfect atmosphere. Please come back soon!

Just came out after watching Chicago Transit, who are a tribute band to the fantastic band Chicago. We'll if you closed your eyes u thought it was the original band Chicago. Chicago Transit played numerous famous songs. Great band. Well done.

Saw a cover band here. Very nice night out. Drinks are served ( cash bar). Small setting which makes it feel very comfortable and the small crowd makes the experience even better. We are going back next month.

Fabulous venue....But, not impressed with no Wine or glasses.Dressed up, night out...drinking beer or coolers out the can??????Can't do a tab anymore....so paying each drink as we order and 18% tip comes up on the computer?We are all tightening our belts...expensive night out... will have to go less now. :(

What a great place. Cozy. Comfortable seats. Great sound system. Small enough that every seat is closer enough that you can really feel the performers. Nice that you can actually go to the bar too.
