Dr Marina Ceaus has been caring for our family for a few years. She has been nothing but professional, reliable and kind with our family. Dr Marina Ceaus has made our 2 young boys feel comfortable and confident when having their exams. She has explained any concerns and kept us at ease. We have never had to wait or been inconvenience while at her office. I would highly recommend Dr Marina Ceaus.

Any optometrist can put you on the eye testing machine, swap a few lenses in the optometric frame (my description) and tell you what is your eyesight on the 20/20 eyesight scale. Based on your “20/20” numbers, they can prescribe glasses for distance, reading and even progressive lens for both conditions. That may be good enough for many and yet for some it is not due to imperfections in the eye apparatus. What if your brain can be trained to compensate for this deficiency? That is where vision comes in. Vision is our brains ability to interpret the images produced by the lens of the eye. After my readings I have come to believe that our brains are surprisingly malleable and can be trained to relearn how to see despite challenges of our eye apparatus. It is in this area that Mr. Marina Ceaus excels. She is the perfect optometrist for me - keen on listening, attentive, knowledgeable, full of empathy with expertise in optometry and trained in Vision Therapy. The rest of my review covers my journey towards fixing my vision.I have always liked reading. At some point reading became chore. I may have caused it. I wanted to read faster in the process messed up my eyes. Instead of both of my eyes, focussing on the same words as I read, my right eye started leading ahead and my left eye did not keep up; lazy guy, I guess. Some years later, I was diagnosed with a prism. This would be double vision, that could be corrected by a prism in the lens of my eye glasses. My eyesight also weekend and I needed progressive glasses. I initially tried eyeglasses with prism, and I never liked them but if I did not have prism correction in my glasses, it made my eyes very tired. I had sort of accepted this condition. Then, one day I came across the book , Fixing My Gaze: A Scientist's Journey Into Seeing in Three Dimensions by Susan R Barry. I read the book and it gave me hope. I came to realize that there is a difference between eyesight and vision. Eyesight is a measurement of what the lens of the eye produces on the retina for the brain (to interpret - Vision). When eyesight weakens, it may be improved with stronger glasses. However, vision is interpretation and it can improve without changing the prescription. One may have 2020 eyesight yet poor vision.I started looking for Vision therapy and came across Dr. Marina Ceaus. As I was intrigued by the possibilities, I went in for a consultation and found hope. I had double Hyperopia,Presbyopia and Mild Convergence Insuffiency. I had double vision esp. on the horizontal axis. I went in for 1o sessions of Vision Therapy before COVID 2019. My condition is significantly better. The ‘reading ahead’ issue is gone. I have tried contact lens and they did not work for me. So, now I am back to eye glasses with progressive lens. I also found lens that work for me.Dr Ceaus is gifted and her treatment effective. She is an excellent optometrist. She has cured my vision issue. She has restored my sight. Thank you Dr. Ceaus.Surinder Singh Aujla

I am surprised Dr Ceaus didn't mention the I see I Learn program and my son's eligibility when we saw her. He's 5. I checked the program's website, when someone else told me about it, and Dr Ceaus and Team are mentioned as a participating optometrist. Disappointed.

For 2 years I struggled with dizziness and motion sickness. Doctors didn't know what was wrong. On a whim, I went to Dr Ceaus and she told me that I had an eye disorder that could be causing my symptoms. Even better, that I could fix my eyes with vision therapy. 7 months of vision therapy later my eyes are fixed and I have no more motion sickness. The process was difficult but Sophie (the vision therapist) was very supportive.

My family had a pleasant experience with Dr Ceaus and Team. Took the kids for a routine check in November 2021 based on reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Dr Ceaus was patient and thorough with the kids, she made them feel at home though it was their first time with an Optometrist. Further investigations showed S had to undergo further treatment. Dr Ceaus outlined all options and advised on the pros and cons of each while guiding us through the process. We chose Vision Therapy and the result was evident after the sessions. Shout out to Sophie for patiently supporting and instructing S through the sessions. We couldn't have gotten the positive outcome without you!Dr Ceaus is my family's Optometrist of choice and I would gladly recommend her and the team to anyone. Thank you Dr Ceaus & Team!

Amazing customer service and politeness. I went in as a walk in patient because I had a piece of plastic in my eye. Doctor Caroline Wong was able to see me within 10 minutes! She located the plastic and removed it, free of charge. The receptionist was friendly and the place is very clean. Well done.

Recently I had to take my 14-month-old daughter to see Dr. Ceaus and she was so patient, understanding and knowledgeable. She explained the whole process and my daughter felt truly comfortable getting her eyes checked- which is a lot to say for a busy toddler! Dr. Ceaus is a true professional – friendly, passionate and caring. I can’t thank her enough for making my daughter's first optometrist appointment so easy. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend Dr. Ceaus for any and all of your vision needs!

I recently had to go for my regular eye exam and I was looking for an Optometrist near my home. Based on excellent Google reviews I booked an appointment at Dr Marina Ceaus' Optometry, and I have to admit that I found the clinic and Dr Ceaus herself, exactly, if not better, than what the reviews say.The clinic is clean and neat and staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr Ceaus herself is understanding, knowledgeable and very patient. After the appointment, I had a few questions and she responded to my email queries promptly and in detail, which is quite unusual for a busy professional, and I really appreciated her taking the time out to address my questions. This only goes to show that Dr Ceaus is a thorough professional and that she cares about her patients. I will definitely go back! And I highly recommend Dr Marina Ceaus for anyone's optometry needs.

Dr. Ceaus and Sophie have supported my child in vision therapy this past year and have changed the trajectory for him so significantly. He can now read, print, catch a ball, and is no longer struggling to navigate through his environment. The gains my son made in vision therapy were truly amazing and we will forever be grateful. Dr. Ceaus and Sophie are not only highly skilled but they offer a warmth and love that made all the difference. They helped us understand the difficulties and the therapy process, motivated my son to participate so well and counselled us when we needed a little extra support through our challenges. I will forever be grateful for the care they provided.
