Deer Lake Taxi

This taxi company underquotes prices for pick ups from the airport, I got 2 quotes from them of $250.00 for their service and even paid in advance and when they showed up they said they said it would be $600.00 and they know your going to pay it because u just arrived at airport and needs cab, I cautious anyone using this taxi service, they are far from truthful and if u do call them record all interactions with them.

Very friendly and quick service. Had two awesome experiences with them!

I book a Taxi a Day Before my Flight in the AM, No one show up, Had to call again in the Morning to make sure to get a Ride to the Airport, When the Cab finally show up, there was a Buzzard going off the hole time going to the Airport, The Cab shouldn't be on the road due to sounds like Falling Apart with all the Banging in the front and back. When I arrive to the Airport, I was paying for the Ride and the Cab driver said to me, I don't need the change do I, I said I guess I do and he was giving me a break on the Cab fare... The Cab fare has already increased extra $3.00 making it a $15.00 Ride from One Day to The Next Morning..

Takes forever to get a ride

Slow service. Very expensive. Can't get cab within 20 mins.

Abandoned desk and left passengers to their own devices. We arrived in YDF on an evening flight. We had called ahead (3 days prior) to book a taxi to Corner Brook. When we arrived, we identified ourselves to the gentleman at the Deer Lake Taxi desk. We were come back once we retrieved our bags.Upon returning with our bags, we were told to wait. The gentleman then left the desk and literally disappeared (i.e., left the airport) leaving us and other pre-booked passengers to our own devices. It seems he realized there were very short on taxis, did not reserve anything for us (or any of the reservations they took). Instead of telling us the truth, he simply decided to leave.We were lucky as we ended up being able to flag down a taxi van about half an hour later to take us to Corner Brook. Other passengers were still waiting (hoping?) when we got our car.

Booked a cab the day before to get to the airport in the morning. Called when a cab didn't show up and the guy said I wasn't on the list. It's a good thing a called or no one would have came

They forgot about me! I called the night before my flight to schedule a taxi from Rocky Harbour to the Deer Lake Regional Airport. The woman informed me that she would definitely pick me up at 9:30am. I called at 9:32am as no taxi had arrived, and the person working dispatch informed me that it would be an hour and a half until they could be there as someone forgot to book my taxi. I almost missed my flight. They also charge significantly more than Pittman's. When I return I will only use Pittman's Taxi!

Would get a higher rating if they took credit cards.
