Great people running this family business. They will try to do whatever they can in order to best serve you. This includes vehicle or person pick up/drop off, which has been incredible for my family to keep our vehicles in good working order on busy schedules. Service is thorough and held to a high standard. If you can manage the crazy parking lot, I recommend Jay’s to anyone.

Brought my truck down to jays, he diagnosed it for free and did it right away. Was excellent service couldn’t have asked for more. I will definitely be going back 10/10 recommend.

Jay was highly recommended by a friend and long time customerHe found time to tow my car, to his garage, on a very hectic cold( minus 36 with wind chill) December 23th ,2022 evening. Car not starting and showed an electrical problem.Unfortunately BCAA was unavailable.That's another story.Being Christmas Jay had me back on the road sooner than I expected with a more than fair bill. No over selling ,replaced only what was necessary . In fact convinced me not to replace sensor saving me $$$$$ .We drove back to Kelowna with zero problems.Jay was very professional and definitley has a caring attitude towards the safety of his customers.Never hesitate to deal with Jay's Garage.

My truck cut out whilst on a road trip around Canada. Stranded and with all the other garages having a waiting list of at least a week or more Jay was the only guy who understood my predicament. His mechanic Scott had the problem diagnosed within 24hrs, a faulty distributor, and I was back on the road within 48hrs. Refreshing to find a friendly garage with a heart and soul.

I had a fantastic experience here. They helped me set up a rental car and made sure I had a ride to go get it. The repair work was well done, fast, and affordable. They even washed my car!

I would go back to see Jay. My vehicle broke down on the hwy just outside Kamloops. Jay's was open Sunday I called spoke with Jay he accepted my vehicle and the following day assessed the issue, verified what I knew was wrong with it, did not try to over charge me or try to allude to any other issues along with consistent communication and even a follow up call to ensure everything was in working order and that I returned home safely without issues. Jay was very personable, informative, efficient, professional, and direct and ensured I was able to get back on the road within 24 hours.

My car broke down in Kamloops on my way home to Campbell River. It was after 5 on a Friday and I knew there was not much I could do. I called Jay’s Auto early Saturday. He was amazing. He told me to get my car towed to his shop and he would get it fixed. Turned out to be my water pump. His Mechanic fixed my car after putting in a full day of work elsewhere. (Thank you Scott. Helped my business in a time of need! Was genuinely caring and took care of my renters! I called like 5 other shops and no one was able to help, but Jay! Even though he was busy he made time to help.

There is hands down no better human on this Planet then Jay. He is a stand up gentleman. They have been servicing Kamloops for over 50 years. Him and his sons go the extra mile to make sure you’re looked after.

Well, I can now honestly say I've found an honest mechanic through and through. Too bad I don't live in Kamloops. Here's my story...I drove from the lower mainland to a lake in the kamloops area for a fishing trip. I planned only to stay 4 nights. Upon arriving to the boat launch at the lake my alternator failed (literally at the boat launch). A high stress situation. With the help of BCAA i had my truck towed to Jay's. Jay's was the recommended shop by the agent at BCAA btw! I had no prior experience with this shop, read a couple reviews and took the plunge. All the shops are extremely busy so I was worried that the truck would not be repaired in time for my departure and having all my gear and myself stuck a the lake (not really a bad thing but a nuisance). Reception was poor and was able to receive texts. The morning the truck was towed i received a nice text from Jay, saying the truck has arrived and that they would do their best to have it repaired in time. The truck was ready to go the very next day! I was shocked quite frankly how great the service was. The communication was excellent. Not only did they do their very best to serve me given my time frame and situation, but they did not gauge me. I know this because I have had this job done before with an inferior rebuilt alternator in the past. They installed a superior alternator and also gave me detailed feed back on the state of my battery + road test. I have spent thousands in the past at mechanic shops and have had a variety of customer service. This was seamless, easy, upfront and most importantly.. HONEST ~!A huge thanks to Jay and his son. An extremely knowledgeable, straight shooter, honest mechanic. I cant thank you enough!
