Kim has been fabulous to work with. I really wanted someone that could work with my dog and I in our normal, everyday environment. Kim came to the house and we trained in our neighborhood talking and practicing along the way. She also listened and focused on what I wanted to do, offering solutions and suggestions. We are making great progress and i look forward to our sessions! I highly recommend Tumblewood!

Kim is a natural with dogs (and all animals)! She’s very knowledgeable, especially about their behaviours and how to diagnose and address any issues they have. Our dog Holly loves her and gets so excited whenever she’s with Kim. Highly highly recommend all of Kim’s services, you’re definitely in great hands with her!

Kim has used all her expertise and patience and has elevated my training experience with our Westie pup. It has been a very enlightening experience for me. Kim has taught me to be a better canine leader and Mum, and Gus is a joy to have around thanks to her training!

Working with Kim was great. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and created a training program that targeted specific areas I wanted to work on with my dog. Not only was she a pleasure to work with but we started seeing an improvement with our dog right away. I highly recommend!

We signed our dog up for the Board and Train option. We met with Kim and had her observe us with our dog first - while reviewing the things that we were finding challenging. Key items were walking (recall), impulse control, getting used to the gentle leader, and even jumping into the car himself (because I can't keep lifting a 70lb dog into the car).We loved the instagram posts because we could see him / his progress which certainly made being away from him easier for us. :)Our dog had a fantastic time with Kim and her dog crew! When we picked him up, we had a one hour session with Kim to review the things that she trained with him - mostly so she could train us. (lol). Kevin was and has been an absolute dream to walk (no more pulling), he listens. We have recall and impulse control AND, he will load himself in the car.I could not be happier with Kim's training of both our dog, and us.Kim is the kind of trainer who thinks about things. Not only does she speak dog and understand their behaviour, but in thinking about things, is able to dig into underlying behaviour. For us - it was that our dog gets anxious. By standing still for a few moments, he can calm himself and then pay attention - or, that he will do attention seeking behaviours (funny and/or bad) ...that we need to ignore.I feel like I have learned to speak a whole other language, and communicate more effectively with my canine family member thanks to Kim!!

Tumblewood Canine did an excellent job working with my very anxious dog. Kim helped me learn how to continue to build her confidence through agility and positive reinforcement.

It has been awesome working with Kim at Tumblewood Canine! My puppy, Rocky, and I have been training with Kim for a couple months now, working on basic obedience and behaviours. It's great to see the progress, especially with Rocky's recall and jumping issues. Kim really takes into consideration the dogs personality and breed and tailors the trainings around each individual dog. She's taught me a lot in terms of things to do/not to do when reinforcing Rocky's behaviours. It's also great that Kim has 2 amazing dogs which help Rocky socialize. Having them around have helped him gain more confidence! Rocky absolutely loves spending time at Tumblewood Canine and we would definitely recommend Kim for anyone looking for any type of dog training. Thanks so much Kim!!

Kim is great - we were working with a 9 month old new-to-us pup, she helped build my confidence and facilitated good bonding exercises. I'm very grateful her expertise.

We left our almost 4 year old Morkie with Kim from Tumble Wood Canine for a 10 day board and train while we went away on vacation. We, like many others, were very nervous and conflicted about how our dog Kobe would feel as he is a very anxious dog. He has not had much exposure to other places or people outside our friends and family because he has always been very afraid of new people and environments. To our very very positive surprise, Kobe integrated with Kim and her family ( including her pets) very comfortably! She, through her patience, expertise in understanding dog behavior, and practice of positive reinforcement, was successful in having Kobe off leash and snuggled up beside her before mid way through the board and train. We really appreciated all the picture and written updates she posted on both the good and the bad through the process. We were shocked to see our ever so anxious dog become so trusting of someone he did not know at all. When we went to pick up Kobe he was over the moon happy to see us, as we were to see him. Since he has been back home he has been more obedient, happy and open to going to all these new places with us!!! Tumblewood Canine helped open the door for him to be more confident and us to be more confident as better leaders for Kobe. We are so motivated to keep this going and would highly recommended Kim at Tumblewood Canine to anyone who is looking for training of any type for their furry friend!!!

My dog Monty and I had a great experience working with Kim. She was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly identify behavioural issues with Monty and provide effective solutions to them. Her use of positive reinforcement is working wonders, and Monty is on the fast track to becoming a well adjusted pooch. I would definitely recommend Kim
