The Dockside Patio @ Bonnie View
We enjoy visiting The Dockside Patio! We usually arrive by boat. Each year we try to bring my In-laws who were long time residents of Minden/Haliburton residing on Lake Kashagawigamog. They owned/operated what was once Kenmar Lodge. Always good food, entertainment and excellent service. Look forward to visiting the patio next year! Thanks, Bonnieview!

Best Patio in Town! Hands down one of THE nicest patios in the county - there’s no other place you can get this close on the water facing the sunset each night. The staff are AMAZING, the music is stellar, genuinely feels like visiting family.I wish the skimazing boats didn’t obstruct the view, but it’s still well worth a visit

We had the pleasure of being a musical guest on the Patio for the Live Music Wednesdays this past summer. It is the most picturesque setting under a massive sky on Lake Kashagawigamog. Impeccable hospitality...flavorful food, various beverage options. The vibe is family oriented, welcoming, celebratory whether or not you are there for a special occasion. It feels like a special occasion just to be outside, with such a view and like minded people. Our most favorite outdoor patio in the Highlands.

The Dockside Patio @ Bonnie View
We had amazing visits to the dock side patio this summer. The changes made to move the structure have made the deck much more open. There was lots of boat parking and the new docks were easy to secure to. They welcomed our dog (on the lower patio which was perfect) and even brought her a bowl of water. The variety of drinks were great and we enjoyed the specialty cocktails. We loved the expanded patio menu and everything we ordered was fantastic. Our one suggestion would be to perhaps add a shareable apps section (or expand app options). We also enjoyed seeing the changes to the Inn. It is so bright and inviting. Bonnie View has been a summer staple for us for years. Thankful for all the memories Andrea provided and excited to share this next chapter with the Yates family. All the best for a successful fall/winter season.

We love the dockside patio! Such an awesome spot to be able to boat up to and enjoy some good food and a cold drink. They have live music weekly and some fun drink and app deals in the week. This is a staple for us in the summer.

Beyond the ideal patio location and ambience, we love the new patio design! The cocktail menu is varied and interesting, and the lunch menu options are tasty. I’ve worked my way through a few menu items this summer; all of them delicious, prepared quickly and with simple presentation. Our service has always been friendly and efficient, and we do love being greeted like old friends. The Bonnieview is our favourite summer tradition!

What a fabulous find this place is! We had a celebratory meal here on a beautiful day and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food was great, the service outstanding and what a gorgeous location. We will definitely be going back.My only suggestion would be to put something rhubarb on the menu but that is not because the menu is lacking but just because I love rhubarb and can't find it at any restaurant! Rhubarb margarita???

Coming to the Bonnie View Inn is always very special for me. I love the fact that I can hop in my boat and 10 minutes later I’m at a lovely restaurant on the water. The views are spectacular, the staff are all so friendly and the food is tasty too. My family loves the new ice cream stand! That was a great idea. Even though we have a cottage on the lake I don’t need to stay at the resort. I’m glad I can still be a visitor to dine in and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere.

We had a great lunch in the patio this summer. The service was amazing and the food was great. It started to rain a bit and we were quickly moved to a table with an umbrella! Wait staff was fantastic. We were looking around the lodge (as we got married there 8 years ago) and one of the ladies that worked there offered to take a picture of us together. Great trip down memory lane and an nice lunch after we rented a jet ski. 10/10 day at Bonnie view as always

The Dockside Patio @ Bonnie View
We have been longtime customers of the Bonnie View and love the new upgrades to the dockside patio!! The food and service is always great and we are happy that there are so many new menu and drink options to choose from. On our latest visit the power had gone out just as the live band was about to begin and the patio was filling up. The staff were amazing and adapted quickly to make sure everyone was well taken care of and there was no change to the standard of service. We own a vacation rental on the lake and always recommend the Bonnie View to our guests for an afternoon cocktail by the water or nighttime dining experience. Keep up the good work!
