Taradale Off Leash Dog Park
People often bring reactive dogs and walk them on Lead in the off lead park. It makes no sense as they have nice pathways outside the off leash park and keeps your dog safe from unwanted interaction and other dogs safe.

Nice and big area for dogs to run around but ruined by people who treat it as a walkway for dogs. Why would you bring your dogs to an off leash dog park if you don’t want other dogs coming up to them to socialize and play. There paths outside where you can walk your dog alone.

Taradale Off Leash Dog Park
One of my top off leash dog parks!This park is fully fenced in. It has a training / smaller dog pen that's attached that also fenced in. It's actually a very large smaller pen.The loop tales about 20 minutes to do, it has a small storm pond at the end.The path is gravel and would be good for strollers. Has a few benches. Small easy inclines but mainly flat.The center of this park is FULL of moles or gopher holes. And I mean loads!I let my small terrier have fun chasing them as I know he won't catch them and it allows his to get tons of enrichment from the playing.

Taradale Off Leash - Nice dog park. Icy on the walks so wear cleats. Dogs we saw were all well behaved. This is not our usual place but have been here before and wasn't disappointed this time. One thing...dog owners-cleanup after your animals and don't leave poop bags on the path? What's up with that disgusting habit? Take them to the garbage!

Keep my dogs in the little fenced area, they love to race the fence line with the dogs on the other side. They're too unpredictable to let loose so I appreciate that small area so they can get some exercise.

Taradale Off Leash Dog Park
Great dog park with a fair length trail for walking. Trail loops around and there’s a good size slough(?) at the top end (nearest Stoney Trail) but it was mostly dry. There’s a smaller fenced area for the smaller dogs (as signage indicates) so it’s a great park for all size dogs.

It has a nice path, a pond for the dogs to swim, plenty of space for the pups to run and it's well fenced so theres no worry of the dogs getting out.

Great space to bring your dog for a bit of off leash fun or a nice leashed walk on the trails. Friendly people, clean environment, and a great green space at this end of the city. Would definitely recommend it if you haven't been yet and live in the area.

Love this place! Its nice that there is a small fenced area, a large fenced area PLUS trails just outside the fence. Perfect place to train or go for a long walk
