Mr. Lube + Tires

Over all the service was great and wonderful, specially Brandon went above and beyond to recomend the right things to do and fix all the problems of the car that I never noticed. Thank you Brandon and the staff in general.

Today, I went in for an oil change and asked for assistance with my tires. The technician that helped me was Manav. He went beyond the scope of what I had asked for by also checking my air filters, that were both brown. I was able to watch him work on my car. It was great having Manav work on my car because it put my mind at ease, especially after having my car in storage for awhile. I am glad to be back on the road.

We needed to change our low beam light bulb and couldn't find a place that didn't need appointment and at least 1h to do that. Coming to Mr Lube, to Marine Drive location in South Van was a great decision. The guy there, Brandon, helped us right away. He was very fast and efficient. In less than half an hour he fixed pur light. He saved us a lot of time. Thank you! Julie

As a woman I did not feel respected at this shop. Don't recommend women come here. The manager can better train the staff of young men to not talk in their native language and laugh in front of the customer. Even if the staff are not talking about me, it made me free very uncomfortable while I was being served directly. I am an immigrant myself. I don't think it's respectful.Second, their servicing was standard but they tried to up sell me direct-injection gasoline for over $130.00 and didn't even explain it properly. Later I came home to do my own research and discovered there's TBS technical service bulletins for my Kia. He should make mention of the caution.They charge $50 for engine air filter there. I told them I would replace it myself and found it for $20.00 at Canadian Tire for the premium brand. If you're a young man or woman going to Mr. Lube, get your $10.00 coupon for the oil change but do your research to save money and discern if their recommendation is actually relevant and helpful. I am not coming back to Mr. Lube at this location.

Mr. Daman! A well behaved, polite and friendly employee at the location, Went to have a glance inspection of my battery, tire and engine oil, he was super helpful and did his job!

Simran served us. He was fantastic. We had such a hard week with our van getting new batteries and then of course now a screw on our tire. We just stopped in to see if they could help us. Which they did and were totally reasonable. Also gave us coffee. Thanks so much.

Manav was patient and made sure I understood everything they did to my car which was super helpful as I’m not very car savvy. This was my third visit to this location and every time I have had a great experience with staff going over and above with their service. Highly recommended :)

Found two nails in our tire and brought it into this location because they were one of the only ones open on Sunday. They told us due to the location of the nails they cannot repair it and tried to sell us two replacement tires for $1000. We felt this was a complete rip off so we just asked them to change that tire to our spare tire, and the next day we went to another place and they said it’s definitely repairable.Just from this experience alone I would not recommend this location to anyone. Looking at the reviews below, someone else had the exact same experience so this isn’t just a one off.

OK - I have to say that I was seconds away from posting a 1-star review, but their customer service changed my mind. I took my Subaru to their shop for pretty routine service work on my tires after my tire valve stem caps seized up. They replaced the valve stems and while this service took a bit longer than promised, they did a good job. Unfortunately, I popped my tire a few days later and had to put on a spare. As I was changing the tire, one of the bolts snapped - I thought as a result of over-torquing at the shop. I came back to the shop a few days later to make sure they take responsibility for their work and their Manager, Ekam, took the time to show me that this was unlikely the root cause of snapping the bolt. I appreciated his thorough explanation and was ready to drive away when he stopped me and offered to replace the bolt as a kind gesture of customer service. He went the extra mile to check on another issue and managed to turn an unhappy customer into a 5-star review and someone who will be back for the next service. Thank you for turning a nightmare into an almost surprisingly pleasant experience.
