Bel Soie by Valerie's Bridal- Mankato

I was so happy with my experience at Bel Soie by Valerie's. The staff were incredible and their selection of gowns was stellar! Highly recommend.

I had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress here! Valerie was amazing, very helpful and friendly; she really made the whole appointment wonderful! We got to look around ourselves at first to find a couple dresses I wanted to try, and then after that Valerie started picking dresses for me based on what I liked and didn't like. She was never pushy and listened very well to what I wanted. She found a dress I wasn't so sure about on the rack, but convinced me to try it on. It turned out to be the most amazing dress I'd tried on all day and ultimately the dress I ended up buying. I had other appointments that day to try dresses elsewhere, but Valerie had no issue with that. She gave me her card, wrote down all the information about the dress I liked and told me to call back if I decided to buy the dress. I ended up calling the next day and she got me in that day to get measured and buy the dress. She even gave me the 10 percent discount, something they give to people who buy dresses during their first appointment! I was thrilled! They were really busy when I came in for my fitting, but they were still very quick an patient about the whole process, and willing to help even though they had a lot going on. It was a wonderful experience and everyone working there was so nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!

I was worried coming in here, and they were so kind and sweet. I had no idea what I wanted, but they were so helpful and nice, made me feel like family!! They worked with me and I tried on loads of dresses until I found the one!! Then my group went wild on the bridesmaid dresses. We were there about 2 hours and they were kind and helped us out on all out questions. Even when my group went wild a few times they went with the flow. I would recommend Valerie's Bridal to anyone and everyone. They had loads of dresses that fit me, and I am a bigger bride. It was awesome, and can not wait till I pick up my dress. I am very proud to say I am a Valerie's bridal bride!!

We ordered bridesmaid dresses here and everything turned out well for those - I didn't have my dress altered there, so I can't speak to that. My husband and son rented their tuxes for the wedding here, but so many of the measurements were wrong (for many of the bridal party). Luckily they were able to rush something for the next day. Was not really impressed with their service. We were ALWAYS responsible for calling to see when things were in, even though they said they would call.

I am disappointed in this bridal shop. I ordered two bridesmaid dresses in January for a wedding in August of this year. That was 7 months out. I heard nothing from the shop by June and started to get worried. I started calling over the course of a few weeks, left a message, never got a call back. They wouldn't answer their phone most of the time when I called, even though I called during business hours. I had to email multiple times and didn't get any response via phone or email for several weeks. Eventually got told the dresses would be here by end of June and early July. I emailed again to no response because they hadn't reached out by mid July. The dress finally arrived, but that cut it close for alterations and I decided to deal with the minor sizing issues rather than paying a tailor to rush it. Not once did they acknowledge how weird and incredibly late the delivery date was, or apologized, or explained why. Bad communication and customer service (although they were always polite). I've been a bridesmaid several times and a bride and it had never been this difficult or stressful to get a dress. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you want to fret about whether or not you have a dress for as big of a deal as a wedding.

Went there with 1 month before the wedding, they helped me pick out my bridesmaid dress and helped the bride find the perfect dress for her. Got my alterations done there, they were fast and the dress fit perfect! Valerie spent a lot of time not only on my dress but also on the brides dress just to make sure they were perfect for the special day! I absolutely recommend going there!

Our experience at Bel Soie by Valerie's Bridal was a very pleasant, positive experience. They have a large assortment of beautiful dresses and designers to choose from. I use a mobility scooter and Valerie was very helpful when we arrived to make sure I could get into the building. We worked with Paige for the dress viewing. She was very informative and helpful with additional suggestions of dresses to also try that were similar. We had a fun, memorable experience

To be honest, I initially just thought I'd try on different styles, find one I like, and find a cheaper option elsewhere. I had heard that this place was ridiculously expensive and that sometimes the staff were rude. TOTALLY NOT TRUE!! It was the perfect experience! I called ahead of time to schedule an appointment to view and try on dresses. I was shown my dressing room and was left to browse thru dresses, with someone checking in on me to see if I needed help or had questions. I felt zero pressure to buy or try on anything. All the ladies were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, thoughtful. I wasn't expecting to find a dress here, but I ended up falling in love with one, and needless to say, I said yes to my dress at Valerie's!! (And for the record, their prices are just like all other bridal boutiques. They have something for every budget.)

The staff at Valerie’s is amazing and goes above and beyond to meet your needs and expectations! I had the pleasure of working with Emery to find my perfect wedding dress! The moment I walked through the door she made me feel so welcomed and was always there to answer any questions and assist in any way she could. Emery did a great job picking out some dresses that went with the style that I was looking for and even did an amazing job making my daughter feel very special in picking out a flower girl dress! I highly recommend everyone to shop at Valerie’s for all your wedding dress needs!
