Dr. Yoana Kyurkchieva's Piano Studio
Yoana is the best piano teacher I've found. My 12 year old son was having difficulty learning piano with another teacher about 2 years ago. After struggling, he since stop learning piano. Since we found Yoana, my son loves playing piano for fun, and even got 90+ mark in his RCM exam. We very appreciated Yoana's efforts and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kyurkchieva is the most wonderful piano teacher in Edmonton. She always starts off a lesson with a friendly and positive attitude. During each class, Yoana meticulously instructs my daughters. She is reliable and very knowledgeable.Not only is her teaching exceptional, her playing is also full of emotion and inspiration. Dr. Kyurkchieva always leaves both my daughters excited for the next class.She is definitely a go-to music teacher.

Best teacher in Edmonton. My daughter isa student of Dr. Yoana(from 6 years old until now 11). My daughter has continually won top prizes in many international competitions since 8years old. You can search Demi Alba's amazing performance on YouTube. That's even louder than my words. I am so proud we have her as our piano teacher.

I started with Dr. Kyurkchieva in 2017 and slowly but surely have progressed from Grade 4 to Grade 8. I study music professionally as an Operatic soprano and wanted to be able to accompany myself on piano with her help. She is caring, compassionate and intelligent. She has helped me to progress far beyond what was possible for me during COVID by telling me just to play for fun for the year and enjoy the music.Update 2022- still the best piano teacher in Edmonton. Patient and professional and a wealth of knowledge of building technique and suitable repertoire.
