CIBC Branch with ATM

We invested a large sum of money at this bank ,and was assured by David Milner that we would earn more over time. He said also that he would call ,but that call was never came.We lost alot money in a short period of time.He was apologetic but that doesn't help for what we lost!!!

This particular branch has amazing employees... all ready to help.. The branch is comfortably large enough to accommodate enough customers and maintain social distancing at the same time..and they have ample parking space to add the cherry on the cake.

I came in with my 81 year old grandfather cause his card became comprised and he was frauded. Nicola was SO great with us. Took us into a room and called the fraud bureau right away, sat with us through it and escalated it. This stressful situation for my immigrant grandfather was made so much better just with her kind service - thank you Nicola!

Refused to serve me when I told them I had been a victim of fraud. They actually told me to call the bank to confirm my identity. Which makes absolutely zero sense because I have all my identification documents on me, including my passport and they are going to verify my identity over the phone without seeing my face? I told them that they wouldn’t be able to refuse me service after I booked an appointment with one of their representatives. So I just went through the app and booked an appointment instead. Don’t bother coming here for any kind of help. Just book an appointment and speak to the representatives

People at this branch are super helpful. I would really appreciate Mohammad Mukadam for helping me out with all the stuff!!

Bobby Chow a representative from CIBC Leaside Br set appointments with me for a phone meeting regarding my mortgage renewal however he did not call me on set date and time and this happened 2x. I am so frustrated with your customer service. If there is a zero rating I would have chosen that.

It was a great experience with TITISHA DAS with whom I had the appointment. She was very helpful, informative and approachable. Got my account opened and she informed me about everything.Great bank services

Very surprised to see how this branch has such a low rating. I personally do not agree with it. I visited this branch a couple times in the past few weeks. The Branch Manager Craig Moloney assisted me along with Senior Financial Services Representative, Devina Master. I was treated with the highest respect and professionalism upon all my interactions with this branch. They assisted me in what I use to believe was a very complicated transaction in regards to my current Mortgage. But with how simple Devina made this whole process for me working with my busy schedule my mind has officially changed. So impressed with this branch and how easy they made this whole transaction for me. Customer service at the front and the tellers are also just as helpful so confused as to some of the negative comments and remarks on this branch. Anyways thank you to the team over there at this CIBC! Looking forward to doing more business with you in the future.

Went into this branch to make a bank draft and once again was faced with discrimination. The supervisor and the branch manager both need to be retrained and offered extra training on etiquette, discrimination and problem solving. I drove 3 hours from Waterloo to pick up a vehicle from a dealership right down the street from them so like any other person would I thought of going to any CIBC would be fine. Wrong, they wanted me to drive back to Waterloo and go to an CIBC there for a bank draft. They refused to understand that driving 3 hours back in rush hour traffic was way more than an inconvenience and they refused to offer any other resolution. However the Caucasian gentlemen infront of me was able to get their bank note without any hassle or problems… I wonder why that is?The moment It was my turn in line I felt their demeanour change. They literally brushed off everything I said and refused to provide any kind service. They were so keen onto the fact that they wanted me to go to a branch in Waterloo that they even refused to listen to me. As a bank manager you should be well equipped with problem solving skills and customer etiquette however it seemed like she had forgotten what her job had entailed that day. Her name was FELICITA FANG. I Hope that you do read this felicita and take accountability to your actions. I understand I may not fit the description of whatever belief you have in your mind as to what a client should look like, dress like, ect. But that doesn’t give you the right to reject service to existing CIBC clients and to treat them poorly. Equality should be the bare minimum and you’re refusing to even provide that. You should not have made me feel alienated that day but you did and you showed zero remorse after. You deserve to be coached and disciplined after that performance.Onto the other associate his name is NORWOOD LEUNG. That young man has no reason to be working in the line of customer service. As I was heading out the door to leave he got very argumentative and started to yell out across the room to us. He yelled out “IF YOU KEEP ACTING LIKE THAT I WONT WAIVE YOUR FEE NEXT TIME”. Disgusting. Absolutely speechless considering we didn’t even ask for the fees to be waived. There should be no place for either one of these 2 individuals to behave the way they did. And then Norwood again got argumentative with me directly and started using phrases like “let’s talk man to man”. Excuse me? Is that even appropriate to say while clocked in? Disgusting behaviour all while his manager Felicita is right infront of us witnessing all this happening but says nothing. Norwood if you do see this buddy, please take some anger management classes and find a place where you don’t have to deal with customer relations as you do not know how to control yourself.The outburst you had was embarrassing not only for yourself but also for the bank that you are representing.All in all I thought cibc was different, seemed like they had some sort of integrity and respect for their clients but I guess not. I’ve came across discrimination at banks before this isn’t my first time so believe me when I tell you this was just another case of textbook discrimination, disrespect and negligence.Will be looking to change banks once again. Please do not let these people disrespect you and treat you in any sort of way. They work in a customer service field the least that they can do is provide some customer service.

Muskan was able to solve my issue.I've been dealing with this branch for numerous years and there's a few things which I honestly love about the branch.The staff is very friendly, samefamiliar faces, but most important they know their stuff and are extremely helpful inmaking sure your needs aresatisfied.
