After hiring Paul and feeling good about first impressions he made me feel good and not so stressed. After a couple of court dates it came time to plead. He went and talked to the crown,( without me present) about a bond. He comes back and tells me that the crown has no interest, and setting a trial date months away like I asked for. We did not discuss my case till the night before trial day.(After me bringing this up)On trial day we stood in the hall and he told me play by play of what was going to happen by watching the police and crown talk to the ( so called victim) . I really feel like he had a deal and just saw a chance to squeeze more money. After the bond was made I asked him not to charge my CC anymore feeling he really didn't earn it. He did nothing positive for me. He went ahead and did it anyway. Dont let him impress you by his stories of people he is or has represented. When you fork out large cash for a lawyer you should be able to trust that person. Guess not.
