Revera Briarfield Gardens

Too many quarantines, subsequently shutting down daily activities for weeks with limitations on food service in the dining room and many other restrictions. Compared to two other senior residences, that my other family members are located in, this residence is well above normal for quarantine calls. It's either due to the residence being so filthy and unsanitary compared to other residences, such that the residents are getting sick more frequently, or it's used by Revera as a way to save money on activities and services. Either way - it's not normal. If you have a family member you're helping or if you're a prospective new resident, when on your tour, ask the residents how frequently the Monthly Calendar of Activities are cancelled throughout the year, due to quarantine.

The staff at Briarfield Gardens went above and beyond to make my father's transition seamless. He loves the food they prepare for him and is starting to participate more than he ever has with the activities. We are so lucky to have such kind caring people to look after dad.

My mother has lived there for almost a year. I cannot say enough about the support staff and activities directors. I can rest a little easier knowing she's somewhere with great meals great company and great staff.

We are very pleased with the care my husband's mother is receiving in this retirement home. She's happy and enjoys the many activities, entertainment and off-site trips offered.Of course, it's so nice to enjoy her company when family takes her out too!
