I'm obsessed with this place! Edmonton has needed an outdoor venue like this for so long - cold beers taste so much better out in the sun :) They support local breweries & restaurants, they use compostable cups (HUGE PLUS!), they bring in great live musicians and they have stellar staff. I attended a bunch of events there last summer and can't wait for them to open their doors again this year. Highly recommend checking it out when they do!!

Canada in a few words.They “care” about your health and safety and allow this kind of business make party with loud music until 1-2am just across the building where living hundreds of people.

I highly recommend this gem in the heart of downtown Edmonton! Peter and his team are phenomenal hosts. There was a great variety of drinks at the bar. The pretzels were delicious. Listening to music and dancing while watching the sunset with the ice district & Rogers place in the backdrop was an awesome experience. We will be back!

We are proud to have provided landscape services to The Backyard on two separate occasions, an absolute pleasure to work with these people and also We had the opportunity to bring some staff members there and enjoy an evening out with live music wonderful food good drinks and the beautiful surroundings of downtown Edmonton! The company I work for hosted a corporate function at The Backyard this week. We were absolutely thrilled with the location, the amenities and especially our hosts Jill and Peter.They were so accommodating; helped choose an excellent food truck and entertainment. They even opened up early the day of to receive chairs that we rented for the event.If you are looking for a fantastic hip party/event venue down town Edmonton, The backyard is your place.

Great spot during the summer. I’ve been here several times and I had a great time with friends. Entry is $10. Dj set was sweet. It’s fun times when it’s busier.

Love this location for local events! This was my 2nd time there to see a comedy show and the selection of comedian was great. Would definitely recommend checking out any of their events! I'll definitely be back.
