Our Mom moved to Highview in June 2021 after a rapid decline in her physical and mental state. As my sister stated, the intake was seamless, the staff amazing. Her physical issues were quickly identified and dealt with appropriately. We were able to enjoy visits with her the way we did in the past! Her room was always spotless, she loved the food and the entertainment. The staff were all so friendly and kind to Mom and all of us. When Mom passed away they treated her with the utmost dignity and respect and they could not do enough to make me and my siblings comfortable. I cannot say enough good about Highview Residences and would highly recommend Highview to anyone. Again, from the day Mom walked in the door to the day she passed away they treated her with dignity and respect through professional, loving care. Thank you so much! Mike

My husband found his 'home' at Highview during the COvid pandemic when he could no longer be safe in our family home. The management and staff rose to the challenges by implementing measures to prevent outbreaks, while communicating frequently with full transparency via emails and Zoom calls.Their advocacy allowed all residents and staff to be offered the vaccine in a timely way. My takeaway from this experience was peace of mind knowing our loved one was in a caring environment where his physical and emotional needs were met in the most optimal way possible. I believe my husband adapted to his transition into care at Highview - as a testament to the skilled, compassionate caregivers in afamily/home like atmosphere. I remain grateful every day that he is safe,comfortable and peaceful of spirit .

My father moved in to Highview after a fast and kind of scary decline. The staff have been great. Caring, patient and thoughtful. The home is modern and clean and my father has settled in well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Mom came to Highview one day before the first lockdown. Dad come a few months later. I really didn't know what to expect but the vast improvement in my parents' quality of living and happiness was nothing short of remarkable. Mom had always resisted help at home. Now she is being taken care of not only physically but emotionally and mentally as well. It's been a long time since I saw her smile so much. Dad's needs were higher and Highview always tackled even the most sensitive subjects with diligence, respect and the utmost care. I watched it happen many times during my visits.Despite outbreaks, lockdowns and health protocols, Highview has always demonstrated transparency and quality care to its residents and POAs. I know that mom and dad are better cared for there than anywhere else, pandemic or no pandemic. Regardless of which PSW or other individual I connect with there, the professional manner in which Highview staff manage their facility and communicate to POAs is exemplary.Of all the decisions one has to make during such uncertain and challenging times, placing your loved one at Highview Kitchener is not a difficult one. I have nothing but praise for this home and its staff.

My Mother was one of the first people to take up residence at Highview and it has been the best experiences for her as well as for the family. We no longer have to worry that Mom is wandering in the middle of the night. She is safe and secure and so very well looked after. My Mom is very happy at Highview. She has a routine that works for her. We know she's not ever going to beat Alzheimers, but at least we know she can live her life being safe and happy.

Really nice place to work, I thoroughly enjoyed. Great people. Great Management. Good pay. I miss this place. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a PSW position.

When I first toured Highview Residence in Kitchener I knew it was the right place for my mom. The residence is beautiful and the staff are very professional and know how to provide the proper care for dementia patients. And having mom's furniture in her bedroom makes her feel like she is at home. After her initially transition mom is enjoying her life. From the very first day the staff made mom feel safe and comfortable. The staff are so wonderful to mom with their caring and loving manner. She loves them all. Mom deserves the very best care for her remaining years and I am confident she will always have this at Highview Residence.

The best decision we made for our Father was when we moved him into Highview Residences. The atmosphere is so homey and not institutional and the staff are simply amazing. They are genuinely caring, kind and professional.

And yet, I can look back and still cherish them with many fond memories of our time at Highview. For that I am forever grateful.Thanks for not only giving exceptional care to my dad but also peace of mind to me and my family.We will miss all of you.
