I explained to him my vision for our wedding and he absolutely delivered.With so much uncertainty these days, you really want to find vendors that are experienced, professional and reliable. There’s already so many components you have to worry about while planning a wedding, so it helps to have someone you can trust handle the music. DJ Yeppa has decades of experience in the Vancouver events scene and his feedback is invaluable.Music is such an integral part of any event’s success, it will set the mood and the vibe so you want someone who knows how to read the crowd and be able to adjust on the spot. I knew he was going to play songs that my friends enjoyed, but I also wanted my parents and older guests to not feel left out. The music was a perfect mix for every generation and everyone had the best time!Highly recommend Modern Events!

Modern events did an excellent job with communication between the company, DJ and myself. I had the pleasure of having DJ Yeppa at my wedding. He was very professional and responsive in person/phone and via email. They were everything they advertised and more. The song selection was on point with what type of music I wanted. We hired Modern events and DJ Yeppa in February 2020 because they had experience with Swaneset and understood the sound and acoustics of such a large ballroom. DJ Yeppa was prompt at responding to emails, fair in pricing, asked all the right questions and arrived early to set up. He kept people on the dance floor the entire night and kept the party going. he played all the songs we requested and made sure that we were all having a blast. One issue we came across was the mic was not working for the ceremony and some guests had a hard time hearing the officiant. They tried to change mics but that one didn’t work either. But overall great experience and I would recommend to other brides.

A++ class service. We were more than pleased with our decision to go with this company. DJ Aung was very pleasant to work with and he provided us an excellent service at our wedding. He was very accommodating and easy going. The dance floor was always packed and he had an excellent collection of music. From hip-hop, pop, country to oldies. He came early to set up all his equipment without any hitch. Not only he had great music, his lighting equipment was state of the art! I highly recommended him to my close friends and clients. We had Conrad DJ at our wedding on Nov 2019. He came to the venue early to set up and made sure everything was ready to go. He was very accommodating to any last minute changes we had, and even threw in a few extras. We were very happy to have him there, as he did an amazing job and everyone loved the music! Even from just the dinner music all the way to the dancing music, all the guests raved about his playlist. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ for any occasion! Thanks again!

We used modern event DJ for our wedding and it was perfect! The DJ played all of our favourite songs and took requests all night! The dance floor was packed the entire night. So so happy with this service!!

We are so glad we booked DJ Yeppa with Modern Event! During the planning of our wedding, it was super stressful due to the constant COVID restriction changes. DJ Yeppa was so accommodating during this time and communication with him was never an issue! There were many options of style packages to choose from, and he was nice enough to guide us through the decision making process about which package to go with. He was very honest and clearly had our best interests in mind. During the wedding reception, Yeppa was very organized and catered to our music style. Also, not only us, but all of our guests commented on how Yeppa was such a good DJ and was always able to read the crowd. He really got everyone up and dancing!! We are so happy with our decision of having Yeppa as our DJ and highly recommend his services!!
