A poor quality group that supports cancel culture. Will never visit this place. I heard there are also rats in the building.

Cancelling John Julian because of his Trudeau satire is terrible and reflects badly on the VSO. Do you understand how many great artists throughout history were famous for political satire? This speaks to the VSO's uninclusive views. I made the VSO an event for myself and family at Christmas once per year. Now, I will find alternatives and will cancel the VSO due to their woke stance. Shame on the VSO!

Disgusted that you've cancelled the talented John Stetch (John Julian's) performance because of his political views. Congrats on being part of the wrong side of history. I will never attend another production by the VSO and will share your actions with as many people that I know who are on the RIGHT side of history. Shame on every one of you who were part of this decision.

Might be a good place to listen to music, might not, But they do enjoy cancelling musicians whom the director does not appreciate. John Julian is on point in his message

Amazing.. I have never seen movie with orchestra before and this was great! We spend on $104+tax per person for lower balcony seat and I think it was worth of money. Thank you for amazing show and I hoping to see more of great show like this!!

Cancelling a wondrously talented performer like John Julian from performing at the 'Day of Music' festival due to differing political opinions is something I thought Id never see from such a formerly prestigious collective like the VSO. I thought music is supposed to bring people together, to bridge people of all walks of life with all sorts of viewpoints. It appears that is not a value that is shared by the VSO and it is frankly pathetic.I was considering getting a season ticket at some point in the near future when it becomes feasible for me to do so--but it appears that wont be happening anytime soon if this is the rhetoric the VSO is standing by.If anything changes, I would like to know. It would be a shame to see the VSO not live up to their acclaimed status in the music world, a shameful deterioration of what once was a beautiful collective.
