Fisherman's Terrace Seafood Restaurant
It's kinda my instant regular go to place for dim sum with family when I visit Vancouver. While not the absolute best, what they do offer in terms of the standard dim sum offerings, they do very well. Yes, there's lots of great dim sum places that are in YVR that are better in one dish or more, but this one is pretty good right across the board.

Good quality dim sum in an open, bright, long shaped Asian restaurant on the third floor of Aberdeen mall. Particularly liked the pork and shrimp siu mai which had crisp shrimp in it. The bbq pork bun was also fluffy and meaty. Good dim sum experience.

had to wait briefly on Canada Day morning for a table for two.food was not bad! some portions felt a bit small compared to what we're used to in the Greater Toronto Area and prices for S, M, L are definitely $1 or $2 more expensive.nonetheless, it's located in a great spot and was worth a one time visit for us.

The pastries are amazing! We were a bit nervous about the deep fried sesame back with bitter melon but it was incredible, not bitter at all with a perfect crispy outside and gooey perfect inside (see pics of the green ball). The baked BBQ pork pastry was out of this world, flaky and delicious. I was expecting a baked bun and this was even better! The har gow was all shrimp inside with a tiny amount of filling.

It was so good. We went in around 12:45.the wait time was around 15 mins. It was definitely worth the wait. The fisherman special meet platter was so delish. I high recommended it. The service is normal to a restaurant as these. The place is clean and nice. Definitely check it out if you’re at Aberdeen center

Growing up in a Cantonese household, I'm pretty familiar with this style of restaurant and service. Dinner here was definitely the worst experience I've had so far at a Chinese restaurant. We ordered 4 dishes. 20 minutes after ordering, we were told that pea shoots were not available that evening. Alright no worries. The Peking duck was almost $90 for 2 course (traditional crepe wrap course + lettuce wraps). This was definitely my first time eating Peking duck where they did not offer cucumber for the wraps. The dish was 90% shrimp chips with a few pieces of duck on top. The lettuce wrap dish however was excellent and very tasty. The pork chops were also okay.Closer to 35 minutes after ordering, we followed up on the remaining dish. It was very apparent that they forgot to place the order but this was never admitted. No apologies were given and it was extremely hard to get the attention of anyone the entire evening, despite sitting in the middle of the dining room. Bigger tables seemed to have no issue. Overall, extremely disappointed. For this price point there are tons of restaurants out there that would leave you more satisfied.

Richmond has a plethora of quality dim sum restaurants. This place puts out food which rates a 5 but it loses a star due to mediocre service. Servers came across as surly and non-attentive.

Revisited this restaurant for dim sum. It is one of the more pricier restaurant and you would still get long lineup of people waiting during the weekend. Surprised that it wasn't the case. It was busy but you can still get a table within 5 mins.The food is decent but the quality is not as good as I remembered. The BBQ pork rice rolls kinda stuck together. The service could have been a bit better. I was glad that they brought the food out very quickly but nobody seemed to bother trying to clear the table of the empty bamboo steamers. I had to remove them and put them in the dirty dish tray/trolley a few tables away. That's just to make room for the dishes being served.May be 3-star is a bit hard on the review. Would have been 3.5 or 4 if their price weren't that high.

Today we were in Richmond and wanted to find a place for Cantonese Food.After looking up Google reviews, we saw that the restaurant had good ratings online, but that it was also known for long lines and waiting times for getting a table .Fortunately, we were lucky and found a parking spot after driving around a few times. When we arrived at the restaurant, we didn't have to wait and there were plenty of seats available. The server was very efficient and the dishes and dim sum we ordered were all very delicious. The restaurant was spacious and had a lot of seating. We would like to come back during the weekdays and try different dishes and dim sum.
