Sylvan Learning of Nepean

My daughters started with Sylvan this summer to help increase their confidence and make up for some of the impacts of the pandemic on their learning. I've been so impressed with how they are engaged and excited to go to tutoring each day. The progress they've made is notable, but most of all I love seeing how excited they are to learn!

My son loves coming to Sylvan! I appreciate all of the hard work that they put in with my child. My child began at Sylvan four grade levels behind, and and has made huge progress, in such a small amount of time. He has more confidence then ever and learning the skills he was missing in math. They have helped his confidence so much! I highly recommend them if your child is struggling with their academics.

Our daughter has been attending Sylvan in Nepean for over a year now. Before joining Sylvan, she struggled with reading and we were struggling to find a way to help her. We have seen a huge improvement with her reading skills and her confidence level has increased as well. My daughter joined Sylvan this year to assist with her grade 4 math and writing skills. After research of different options, I chose this program for a few different reasons: variety of topics they will tutor, in person or online available, and that there is little parent involvement as homework time was becoming a major time of conflict in our house. The confidence my daughter has gained over the last few months is extraordinary. She has never complained about going and always enjoys her time there. All of the staff have been very helpful and kind and I appreciate the updates to show how she is progressing. Overall it has been an amazing experience and I am so glad we did it.

I have two daughters who have struggled with reading a d language throughout their schooling. Sylvan has been awesome. Both girls have shown significant improvement in just 4 months. The feedback from their teachers at school has been great. Not only are they improving in reading and writing, but also in the learning skills that are important for academic success. After years of struggles, we have finally found a program that works. Being able to do it virtually is super convenient to where we live and our busy schedules.

Enrolling my son for tutoring at Sylvan was a great decision. In the short space of time that my son has been attending tutoring sessions, his grades have notably improved. He is more comfortable and confident with mathematics, which before posed a challenge. Sylvan has been a very positive experience for my son.
