I got my blood work done here. They are so rude and also careless. I asked so many times that doctor sent me two requisitions and they said this is the only one. After getting the requisitions from doctor directly, I asked them did she include all the tests. She forgot to include couple of my tests. Inspite of asking so many times, she missed the tests. When I asked her how to do the stool sample, the lady doesn’t have any knowledge. She just said follow the instructions. I mentioned her that last time there was a problem as they didn’t tell me proper instructions . Can she check and let me know proper instructions. She was reluctant to provide me any instructions. I had to repeat myself so many times.They missed some tests and when I called next day, she didn’t even apologize for missing it.Such a worst customer service experience and they have to learn how to treat people. Highly disappointed

They kept my wife waiting for 2 hrs outside in the cold weather, even though there were seats inside.The staff was rude of any question or asking.I doubted if she was racist.There was also a poor old white man got tired of waiting outside.He threw up his anger and said,Your system is suck!"That place was literally what he said.My wife was able to wait inside for another hour and a half before getting tested.It was a really amazing place ever."

Appalling experience.It's entirely laughable that this organization cannot organize itself sufficiently to provide a reasonably efficient or expeditious experience to its clients.Today, March 13, at the Royal Oak location, a very frail man with terminal cancer entered the building an hour an a half before closing. He needed bloodwork completed 2 days prior to chemo, as required by BC Cancer, and (because you can't book appointments within a 2 month period), he was forced to show up in person and wait.The girl working the door was young, uncompassionate, and downright snooty. The man was slumped over, clearly suffering, and the woman flatly that they would not see him. The woman the man was with begged her, saying it took all day to get the man to the lab, and after lots of back and forth, the young girl agreed to see him in an hour."As an observer to the whole affair

I couldn’t get an appointment at any Lifelabs for a month but needed blood work and ECG work done quickly. I went there this morning and was in and out within 20 minutes. Such great service. Signage was easy to follow. Well done ladies!!

this is prime example of incompetence. cancer patient needed extra blood and urine workup and used save my spot because nearest appointment was a month away, saved the spot at 8am and it was for 11 , waits outfrint with a pile of people when a rude lady comes out locks the doors and said go somewhere else we are full.time to put this back to public, they are the only game in town and license should be r3avaluated. last appointment we booked at other location closed before our appointment due to staff shortage, so when and how do we get this done, hospital emergency? surgeon says you may have to cause people will be dead before they get it together

Had a Saturday appointment, was in and out within 15 minutes. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and efficient.Sharing my positive experience to offset some of the negative reviews. I read the reviews before going to this lifelabs and was pleasantly surprised.

I had to go to this location since it’s more convenient for me. But unfortunately, l had terrible experiences for the most of the time. Unreasonable wait even you have booked the appointment. There’re only 2-3 chairs outside of the lab for people waiting to be checked in, which is absolutely unacceptable.

Worst location indeed! Unnecessary wait to process an urine sample. The disinterest in helping is so high that the lady taking names at the door suggested I go somewhere else. I will not be coming back to this location again even though is the most convenient for our family. Edit to add: it took me less than a minute to be helped promptly at arrival in burnside life labs. Use that location instead of this one.

Horrible experience. The women who work here need to remember that people coming in to get tests done are probably going through difficult times and should learn how to treat others with a bit more empathy and kindness and act more like human and less like robots going through the motions. If they can't be like that then they are in the wrong line of work.
