Nice little place to grab a quick snack. Really enjoyed the Latin music and the small selection of Latin groceries.Enjoy a nice Inka Kola!

Made the mistake of purchasing tres leches cake from two bakers that.. how do I put this.. aren't authentic bakers of this fine cake so I've been on the hunt for authentic tres leches cake: my search was over when I found Ave Maria Cafe today.The service here was super and had a local, family-owned feel to it. But the highlight was the homemade tres leches cake: it was creamy, smooth, and exactly how a tres leches cake should be! Don't buy this cake from anywhere else but Ave Maria Latin Cafe!I will be returning to this cafe for their food and coffees.

Lovely people and vibe. Good drinks, though pricing could be better.Now I’m not an expert on Latin food so tell me if I’m misunderstanding but, the Colombian empanadas I ordered were stale?Like, the pastry part was HARD, thick, and dry even though the empanadas themselves were warm.Is this normal?I couldn’t bite through some and just gave up. Sorry.

Very strange arepa. Guacamole didn’t seem that fresh and the arepa was more like a pizza.

WOW. 10/10. Absolutely delightful!I ordered the guacamole and pulled pork arepa and I can say with certainty that this was on of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time! I also ordered the fresh mango and milk juice, which was so refreshing and fresh :) the staff were so lovely - I highly recommend

Was taking a random stroll down bloor, came across this lil gem, and glad I did.I enjoy a good espresso or strong coffee, and this place makes a great espresso.Tried a couple empanadas to have with it, and they were delightful. Tided me over for a good snack.Will definitely be coming back to try more <3

Can’t believe we waited so long to try this place out. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. Not usually a juice person, but the lulo fresh juice is stellar. This is going to be the go-to cafe going forward

Warm welcome and hospitality, unfortunately the tamale & plantain were not fresh so we ended up throwing away more than half. Coffee wasn't authentic Columbian.The shop however is very interesting and that's how we got attracted to stop by.
