As a zine lover, this is the perfect bookstore. Prices are great and it's non-profit. Grabbed some by-donation stickers from a small artist featured at the shop too.

Very queer and trans friendly. If you’re looking for books on activism and politics this is the place to go, don’t bother with anywhere else. Entirely volunteer run with some of the most amazing community building values you’ll find anywhere. This place is 100% worth your support

Always a wonderful surprise to see what you'll find in this community bookstore. Leans left, so know what you're getting into. Masks required and a great resource hub. They do gift certs too.

The perfect bookstore, even for non-book-lovers! I found a lot of great familiar names and some stuff I'd never seen before, and I feel like the place really connects to the people of this city rather than the institutions.

Very nice little bookstore, has lots of interesting books on indigenous history, anti-capitalism and leftist ideas. The owner was chill and was listening to a podcast that I was familiar with and a fan of. Definitely coming back to buy some books

Amazing vibes and great selection of books. I wish I could spend more time in there though, the fluorescent lights were giving me a headache :(

The nicest folks in town! Very accommodating, welcoming and unpretentious. I haven't yet had the chance to visit the shop (because of physical distancing) but I've ordered a number of books for delivery which has required a considerable amount of communication and coordination- all of which has been handled well by their volunteers (especially Alexander whom I've primarily dealt with). Also they have very generous Patreon perks which I'm enjoying :)

A leftist volunteer-run bookshop with a wide variety of books. It is on the expensive side and it isn’t totally clear why books are priced that way given it is volunteer run. If the money is going to organizations or fund raisers or simply what it takes to cover rent and costs it’d be nice to know!
