Working with Larissa and Ashley was a rewarding experience.I initially contacted Windrose Coaching Studio as I was feeling unfulfilled in a stable, union job and didn't know how to go about transitioning to something more rewarding outside of my current organization. I knew that I could simply apply to all varieties of roles and quit my current job once I had a job offer, but I realized that wasn't a strategy to find fulfillment or reward in the long term; this approach was only a short-term band-aid solution.After meeting with Larissa and Ashley for a brief discovery meeting, I was paired up with Larissa for the duration of my coaching due to her skill set & knowledge and a match (or complementary nature) of our personalities and preferred ways of working.Over a handful of one-on-one sessions, Larissa was able to help me identify what I valued most about work, what types of activities I find most fulfilling, and what organization characteristics likely were a good fit in terms of how I work and interact with others. Larissa's ability to ask the right questions at the opportune moments, paired with the use of reflection activities to help focus my thoughts on my strength and worth, helped me move through the process with a growth mindset towards a specific goal.What was helpful most of all was that Larissa made me feel and realize that I had a better understanding of myself, my needs, and my strengths than I initially thought. Rather than telling me, Larissa led me through a process of discovery which uncovered things I likely knew about myself but was unwilling to admit or recognize. The process was all about me, my needs, and where I needed to get to.Rather than continuing to go through the motion of applying for job after job, not certain if it's the right opportunity for you, you could be focusing the same amount of energy on a more specific and purposeful search.
