Parkdale Market
Was disappointed. Asked if the vegetables were organic. The woman didn't know and said the vegetables and fruit are from different farms.Ended up going to Loblaws where I can find things marked organic but really wanted to support local.

So I bought a basket of strawberries at the stand across from Carleton tavern. Owners are ROCHON GARDEN. The BEST berries I ever bought everyone of them juicy and large.

Parkdale Market
This has been a wonderful place to buy fresh ingredients and support our local economy.I have been going weekly for the past few months and have really enjoyed the various vendors this market has to offer. It is much smaller than most markets (which I prefer!) and has provided a safe outdoor shopping environment during these times.Enjoy the photos and thank you vendors!

Parkdale Market
The Parkdale market is decent at times. There are very few vendors on a typical weekday however more options during the weekend. Sometimes some pop up local food vendors show up, as well as some longer distance out of town farmers. Fresh produce is usually available as are flowers. There is a fenced-in kids park and pool next to the market so this is ideal for family outings.

I seek out vegan things at markets. At Parkdale Night Market, July 2022, I found: Little Bo Jerry’s sweets, pastries, donuts, cookies; Mooshu’s vegan ice cream flavours (good blueberry); Spring Chips spiral potato chips; the Hot Potato Co.; Broadhead Brewing; and Spark Brewing. Market attendees appeared to be enjoying themselves

The fruits use to be great hear now they are rotten I buy strawberry big basket Hal were rotten the top looks good don't fall for it I have warned you there bad the flowers are OK but the fruits is not what it once was do not fall for it I did warn you

Lots of great booths at the market, fresh veg and fruit, plants like flowers and herbs, artisanal breads, ginger beer, samosas, and even clothes, candles, and insence. A lovely manageable market, just the right size.Not much parking but if you get there early you can find spots. Most of the proprietors take debit but not all.

Cute little local market. Mainly focused on plants, a little bit of food. Located just right next to a playground that can be fun for little kids. Free parking for 15 min right on Parkdale in front of the market or immediately next to market. if cannot get free parking, can pay for parking close by, not expensive. Of course, good to bike there too. There's also night market on some Wednesdays. Please look at picture for 2023 schedule
