Precision Welding and Fabrication

We hired Precision Welding because or storage container was in need of some repair, and it was located in an area popular with break-ins. Derek was there the following day and welded the box covering the padlock back on in no time. 2 weeks later we had a break in at the other end of the storage container, (the container has a door at each end, one is a man door which we thought was secure with a deadbolt, tools and other things were stolen). The thief's also damaged the lock behind the box Derek fixed at the other end, but they couldn't get in. The damaged lock had us stranded as we couldn't get in to our material, so Derek squeezed us into his schedule to come and cut the lock off within the hour of calling him. As well, he designed a new lock bar for the man door of the storage container, which no doubt will prove effective to more break-ins. He was very professional, his rates are great, and awesome to work with. Highly recommended.

Precision Welding was hired to do a repair on one of our motor coaches which required immediate attention. Derek was able to complete the task in a timely fashion keeping our down time to a min. allowing the remainder of the job to run on time and on budget. His attention to detail was excellent, he maintained a clean and tidy work environment and provided a professional service that I would recommend to anyone.

We asked Derek to build a very complicated table base from only a thumb nail photo. He did the most amazing job!!! He is wonderful to deal with, he is precise, and talented. His prices are very reasonable. You will be so happy you chose him.

We had Derek build supply and return sch. 40 steel Geoexchange manifolds for us for a project in Esquimalt. Our office is located in Richmond and so we did this mostly via email and phone which made things a bit more challenging than being able to meet and review specifics on site. Derek was very responsive, understood exactly what we were looking for and was honestly great to work with. He was able to get this made for us quickly, delivered to site himself and the finished product is exactly what we expected. Price was very competitive as well. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others and will definitely work with him on future projects.

I needed a welding job for my lawn equipment and I was crunched for time. Precision was the only business welding business opened at 7am. So I gave Derek a call. He was very professional and informative.After a diagnosis of my faulty equipment he had it back to me within an hour and I was back to business. They also come to you if you can't make it to them. After calling pretty much every mobile welder in the book and I actually stumbled upon precision welding through an add on used Nanaimo. Com . Honestly I should have called them 1st because I got the complete runaround from these other so called welding outfits. Iam very pleased with the work Derrick did as I could clearly see that he is passionate about his work and treats it as a work of art. His keen sense of detail and professionalism is outstanding not to mention he was right in time and finished earlier which saved us money on the initial quote he provided. The company must be proud to have Derrick part of the team.Oh, why only 1 star? Absolute excellent services. I asked Derek to fix some broken aluminum welds on my race quad as well as weld back on my steel foot peg. Weld looked clean and has held up perfectly. Foot peg was mounted perfectly level. I was not over charged either, the skill level was obvious and a motivated entrepreneur, capable of any metal fabrication project you may have.

While doing a renovation project in the shop at my car dealership, I was fortunate to have been recommended to talk with Derek from Precision Welding. Precision welding has done several jobs for us and the quality has been excellent. We have never had a problem with any of the work Derrick has done for us but it is good to know that he stands behind his work and if there is a problem he will fix it at no charge.
