Angle Outpost Resort

The Best experience on Lake of the Woods. So happy that we made it this year with a few modifications. We love the Goulet family. They are so wonderful. Thanks again for everything in this strange year. A great getaway from the world!Thanks again!

No hot water. TV did not work. It was expensive. Screens missing on windows so mosquitoes were overly friendly. Lisa was real snipity when we asked for $10 off the outrageous $150/night because no hot water. Young resort busier but way better and friendlier.

We decided to try ice fishing the north shore of LOW. The owner said we would not regret the extra drive from KC. Was she right! We have traveled to AO and fished the weeks during last two super bowls. WOW ...did we catch the fish. We released SEVERAL fish , that we would have kept had we been fishing on the south shore. We would average 70 fish per day, between three guys. With two or three slot walleyes per day. I would recommend the extra drive time. Finally when we arrived, dad was working and mom was at a school event. We were greated by their son, i would guess about 12. I was pleasantly surprised how well he conversed with us. KUDOS to mom and dad!

Stay here you won't regret it. Ask for Angle Andy.

Fantastic place for fishing Lake of the Woods. Very friendly, reasonable prices, clean cabins, and great knowledge of the Lake. Excellent for ice fishing as well. I will definitely return again.

Awesome place to hunt and fish in the Northwest angle

Great place to stay for a great fishing trip! Jason and Lisa were very accommodating. Cabins were very nice (much better than we are used to for fishing trips!). The entire resort has a great spacious layout and we were even able to fly in and secure float planes at the docks. Quick and easy access to Canadian waters. Nice rental boats with bait and gas available at the docks. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning!

There is no better place to stay on the Angle!! Renovated cabins and outstanding service all around. Easy access to MN and Ontario waters = great fishing.

What an awesome place. Drove 13hrs for a two days of fishing. Nice clean cabins with heat, 30's at night. Our fishing guide Joe, super great! It was cold and windy with chances of rain and snow, he got us on the fish. Shore lunch was great. Definitely will be coming back....
