I was referred to Dr Boyer by another Orthopedic Surgeon who could not help me. Dr Boyer helped me to heal an ankle and calcaneus break and a torn Achilles without surgery.

She is very helpful, and unlike the rest of the medical world, she does answer the emails and the phone. Saw Dr. Boyer today for the first time for my daughters fractured humerus. He is extremely caring, polite and informative. He took his time with my daughter and explained everything to us very well. He is extremely pleasant to deal with and I am happy we have been referred to him

I had a total right hip replacement 7 years ago at UBC and my surgeron was out of VGH. On the 19 November I had a small hernia repaired on my left side. 11 days later, 30 Novemver, I experienced extreme pain in the right hip and was hospitalized at RCH. It was determined that I had a severe infection in that hip and it had to be surgically cleaned. I was indeed fortunate that Dr. Dory Boyer was available to open the old incision clean the infection and replace a couple of the titanium caps. Dr. Boyer has a wonderful bedsidew manner and I truely believe that he saved me from having to have the entire original hip replaced. A great surgeon, a winning personality and genuinely interested in your case!
