Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Plenty of screens to watch the game. Food was below average though. The fish & chips tasted more like fryer oil than fish but otherwise pretty decent.

The Fernie Taphouse
Watched Vegas win the Stanley Cup final and had the Beef Donair and a ceasar. Good atmosphere and the bartender went out of his way to make a great ceasar. Will definitely come back for some pub grub when I'm back in town, one of the better menus for pub food I've seen in town.

*** NOT FOR THOSE SENSITIVE TO LOUD ENVIORMENTS*** With thay being said. The food was delicious! Decent portions for a decent price. The staff was very attentive, even as the place got very busy, if our waitress wasn't checking in, another staff member was. Will 100% be going back!

I've been going to the Fernie Hotel, now called the Fernie Tapas House for over 35 years. This is the first time I have ever been shocked by my bill.Price gouging and a rip off.My table ordered 3 short vodka, soda with a splash of cranberry during so-called happy hour. Add the ice, alcohol and soda, and there is only room for maybe an ounce of cranberry juice.The server did not tell us there would be an extra cost for the splash. We get the bill, and each splash of cranberry cost $1.50 per drink. Wow, seriously! What a rip off.

Probably the worst service today I’ve had in a restaurant, not sure the name of the waitress in the red shirt and overalls. It took 15 mins before we got a menu, she seemed uninterested in serving us. Another server had to apologize for her service. Openly chatting with other staff members and ignoring her tables, was unable to ask her for our bills and was forced to go grab another server. It would have been understandable had it been busy but she had only 3 other tables. Will not be back, disappointing for our first and now only visit.

Tonight had dinner with friends. Ordered my usual steak sandwich. Which prior to tonight has always been a tender, juicy, steak. Tonight it was horrible. So tough I could not chew through it. My friend said the same. My last visit was for lunch and I ordered the fish tacos. The fish was hard to find in the taco and it had no real taste. So disappointing, for the price tag attached definitely not worth it. I guess I will stick to the fish and chips from now on. So disappointed ☹️

I recently visited the The Fernie Taphouse and had an amazing experience, all thanks to our server Zak who was incredibly friendly and attentive. Throughout our visit, he made sure that we were comfortable and that our drinks were always topped up.The hotel had a fantastic selection of drinks and food available and we really enjoyed playing pool on their nice pool table.Overall, I would highly recommend the The Fernie Taphouse to anyone looking for a great night out. They have everything from superb customer service to an excellent selection of drinks, making it the perfect place to unwind with friends or family.

Always love getting back to Fernie to drink some great Hazy beer. Arrived late morning and the place was hopping with fans cheering on their favorite Rugby teams. Our server was very good at her job and friendly. We felt right at home. Beer was so good and cold. The food…yummy!

It is an average place to hang out with friends.You can have games of 8 ball pool while enjoying chilled Beer or glass of wine or Vodka or the drink of your choice.If you are a football or rugby or ice hockey lover then you can enjoy watching live games on the screen if it's live broadcast.

The Fernie Taphouse
We stopped on the way to Montana. There were 4 adults and 4 kids (3 of the kids split chicken finger combo). Took us 1.5 hrs to get our food here, although it was tasty it took far too long.
