A little too small and the great gift section was replaced with too much Yeti. No longer a go to store unless I want a quick run-in-and-out item. Friendly staff. Lots of parking.

The are by far, the BEST place to do any kind of hardware business, . Why? ... because they provide the same old time customer service that is mostly obsolete in the world these days. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and they hustle about while doing so. This is gold in today's world of blank stares and irritation when trying to navigate the new world shopping experience.

Lots of selection and helpful staff that actually seem to like working there. There has always been someone available to happily help me out. Prices are competitive with other hardware stores but there is a wider range of products such as pet supplies, housewares, and outdoor recreation supplies. They also have some great sales. Another bonus, you can take your leashed dog into the store with you! Very helpful when you need to stop for something when traveling through on a hot summer day.

I certainly don't recommend them for a garage door installation. We recently had a 16' door installed by them. The 1st team didn't bother to install 2 of the supplied cross braces on the door. Since then I've also noticed one of the roller brackets is crooked ( roller is now at an angle), the interior pull handle is coming loose , one of the rear rail supports is set to a different backset than the other. As we have scissor trusses that mean the door is hanging at an angle when up. And these item are just the ones I've seen so far. Very poor and unprofessional installation.

Best hardware store in Kamloops by a long shot, the only disadvantage to this is that it's always very busy. They try their best but you typically have a bit of a wait at the till.

Brian, the manager in the door department is beyond useless. Not only does he dodge calls or when you do manage to get him on the phone he says he'll put you on hold and get back to you. Then you accidentally" are hung up on. My business purchased 5 French doors custom ordered and we have had nothing but issues. Wrong sizes

Love this store. Always great service and unique products. Service is above and beyond helpful with great advice to help lay persons take on projects at home. I had this old dresser and managed to refinish into a wonderful piece I'm happy to have in my home with the help of the staff at Home Hardware.
