Luminous Hair Salon

This was one of the last salons I visited before the second lockdown (like, I was literally in the chair on the Friday the government announced that as of Monday, Ontario would be going into lockdown again). I believe Donna was my colourist and she was incredible! She adjusted my expectations in terms of colour but got me to the level I could get to in one setting. The service was lovely and I’m going back in August!Editing this review to add my thoughts on visiting this salon again on the 13th to have my roots touched up, update my balayage and get a haircut. This time I was served by Aneta and I honestly can’t stop staring at myself in the mirror. She did SUCH an amazing job! Donna started me off to my path to get lighter and Aneta got me across the finish line! See before and after pics for proof!

Aneta has cut and styled my hair twice now. My hair is not the easiest to work with. It’s curly and voluminous. Both times I’ve come out of the salon loving the way my hair looks. Aneta is amazing. She listens to what you want, makes suggestions as necessary and explains what she’s doing during the entire process. She’s professional, patient, friendly and her attention to detail is incredible!

Just got my best hair wash, cut and blow style from Aneta. I would definitely recommend her for your hair styling needs . . . she's personable, bubbly, professional and attentive. Just love, love, love my fresh cut. Thank you Aneta!!

Anita is the most wonderful hairstylist! I just finished my second visit with her, and she did a beautiful balayage. She also makes you feel totally comfortable & checked in with me as we went along so I fully understood the process. This is my second visit with Anita and could not recommend her more.

I live quite far from this place, but still try to come back there each time I need a hair cut or styling. My favourite hair stylist is Krista, she is truly talented hair dresser, and amazing human being.

I have being going to Luminous Hair Salon since 1995 - always an awesome experience. Their services and attention to detail are outstanding and they have made my hair super healthy and luxurious. Everyone of the hairdressers are excellent at their work. I have had the pleasure of one of the hairdressers Aneta Rzycznick doing my hair - colour cut and set a few times and I always feel like a new woman everytime. I highly recommend this hair salon who always treats your hair with the utmost care and you always end up feeling relaxed and beautiful each time.
