This metro station (green line) brings you straight to the heart of Montréal. McGill metro offers numerous exits, three of which bring you to major shopping centres. If you are a McGill student, you are also not too far from the Arts Building (a 2-3 minute walk). My only warning would be that if you have classes in the Education or Stewart Biology buildings, it would be easier to get off at the Peel metro station.

This Montreal Metro station is among the busiest, with many office buildings, malls including Montreal Eaton Centre & the McGill University inside. It's also part of the Underground city, an indoor network that connects to other Metro stations like Bonaventure & Peel. Aesthetically, it's pretty nice with the window frames that depict Montreal histories. There's a lack of elevators but there's escalators & stairs and the station isn't too deep to reach the malls which are pretty accessible for everyone.

Conveniently serves McGill and the surrounding college neighborhood. And like other metro stations, you can't help but notice the fantastic station design and art. But why or why are there no restrooms here? Sure, you can go to a restaurant nearby, but restrooms are ubiquitous in many modern metro systems around the world, and not having them anywhere in the Montreal metro is a real shame.

I love McGill metro station. I like how neatly put together it was made. Now to play devil’s advocate here, some of you might not like the fact that rush hour over at McGill is pretty bad, and I get that. It is one of the most crowded stations on the network. But if you put that aside, you have to admire the fact that it serves as a vital component of Montreal’s Underground City network, connecting the station to Bonaventure on the Orange Line, which can come very much in handy during rainy days or other days with bad weather where you would prefer to be indoors rather than out. Plus the station is a shopper’s nirvana in this city. This station deserves all 5 stars of my 5 star review. 100%.

Even if the station is a little darker and a little less clean than others, it’s one of the most frequented and therefore one of the most useful ones when it comes to visit downtown. From here, if you keep walking through the underground city you can get to Peel, Place-des-Arts… and through those to Bonaventure and Place d’armes. (But those secret shortcuts only experienced city people know about haha)

It is a nice station. Its located almost in the heart of downtown accessible to sainte catherine street Eaton centre and just a busy station overall. They should renovate it for sure and will put lifts in the future and make it better and have english announcements and better signage but it's a decent station overall.

Very nice metro station leading to several important venues in Montreal. It is also linked to a vast network of underground stores that caters to plenty of interests.Just a warning however. There is currently a trend of people asking for a paper 5$ or more in exchange for their 2$ and 1$ coin. They won't let you look closely at the coins because they are actually 1 Pesos coins which are worthless.
