One of the most popular restaurants in Vancouver.Food: The meats are fresh and there are many choices. They will season the meat well and they are so tasty.Service: The service is good, the waiters there are nice. If the pan you're using burns, they'll always help you replace it with a new one.Atmosphere: Traditional Korean design. There are private rooms, suitable for family gatherings

Hanwoorie Restaurant is so good! One of the best places in Burnaby to eat korean food, great flavours, big portions with fair prices. It’s a little small and you may have to wait for a bit specially during the weekends but worth the wait.

The taste is average, but the price is above average. In the beginning, when we got there, we waited almost 20 mins, and a lady finally came and brought us to a seat; almost giving up waiting and switching to another restaurant, but the waitress who helped us was very kind and friendly.

Delicious Korean food in the heart of Burnaby. Large tables, plenty of selection, and most of the customers are Korean, so you know it must be good. The portions are large so we took much of it home.

Awesome food, quick and friendly service. Very attentive. Food was pricey but good. Bibimbap was about $16. All else was $20+ to $30+ each. Busy so come early. Our go to place for Korean food in Burnaby.

Overall, very good first experience. Very nice sides and portions. Had nothing else to compare it too. Did have to prompt for our rice and our dumplings that we asked to come out first. They were unable to split the bill either.

Delicious food and generous portions for what I ordered. Nice spacious booths. Awesome side dishes with even the most basic main course dishes. They use call buttons on each table for their servers and I never had to wait long after pressing for someone to stop by. Will definitely be back!

Great place for group gatherings! The food was not bad either and the service was good, would definitely recommend if you’re with a group of people.The decor is nice as well and I absolutely love the rooms with the vents on top and the style of seating there. Feels very authentically Korean

Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were disappointed to find a lengthy wait for a table. While we expected a short turnaround time, we ended up waiting for 25-30 minutes even though there were 2-3 empty tables of the appropriate size. Once we were seated, we placed our order, but were unfortunately served a side dish with a hair in it. In addition, we were disappointed to see that the prices on the menu had significantly increased since our last visit. To top it off, the service was not up to par. When we inquired about the busyness of the restaurant, we were told that this was not even peak time, which left us wondering how long the wait would be during busier periods. Based on our experience, we do not recommend this restaurant and suggest looking for other dining options.
