Telus

Every month I receive my share plan bill and want to puke. It's over $200 for 6 gigs. I maid the mistake of getting my phone on a contract and now I'm trapped. I talk to people I work with that are with other providers and are paying $60 for a 10 gig personal. More then an $80 a Month difference. I called and tried to get a better deal and they basically told me that because I didn't buy my phone outright and am under a contract they won't lower my plans cost. I can not wait to leave this rip off company for one that has reasonable plan rates and doesn't screw you.

Worst company ever.

I was promised free installation + first month free. When I got my first bill it was over $400 for the first 2 months. They double billed me. When I was furious with this I tried to switch providers. After attempting to switch they said they would charge me more for installation fees they already tried to double bill me for.Now when I tried to cancel their subscription the support which is outsourced in a completely different country ( Who doesn't care at all ) they refused to cancel unless I paid the outstanding bill or they wouldn't cancel my service and keep charging me. Absolutely insane customer service. I highly advocate to go with any other service providers, Telus is a bunch of jokers who outsource everything.

Was with them for over 15 years and then switched to Public Mobile and saved a bundle. 5 months later needed my previous year's monthly invoices from Telus for tax purposes and they said they only provided them for 90 days and now would have to pay $36 for printed copies to be sent out because emailing the files is far to risky....really....far more risky than someone simply walking up to my mailbox and taking them. What a farce. Some gratitude for being a loyal customer for so long that still has all my home services with them.

excellent service and deals

I referred a friend and referral was successful, unfortunately, I never got promised a reward for a referral which is around 50 bucks per referral. I was emailing them with proof etc. They replied with a generic email not even trying to be helpful. Extremely disappointed with Telus. And I'm with them like 10 years. So think twice before you sign your contract.

Terrible customer service. They can't keep records at all, especially any record of you cancelling the service. They can keep losing that over and over, month after month until they figure you owe $1000+, then just send you to collections and refuse to speak with you further. It's a scam and is probably illegal.Update: 2 years later, and they are trying another fraudulent charge for nearly $500. I haven't been a customer since I left my last angry review. Don't ever give them your info.
