T&T Supermarket Chinatown Store
Their bakery carries wide variety of fresh made cake and bread. Mango cake and mango pudding are one of their signatures and as well my favorites. Counter Staff is attentive and polite, cashier is efficient.

All of their wheeled baskets were dirty. It was gross. The janitor came to sweep the floor while we were trying to pick the fruits. He should not do that; he should wait for the customers to leave before cleaning. That just means they did not welcome customers to pick the fruits. Also, the cashier did not greet us and just kept her head down while scanning our merchandises. It was as if we were invisible. She did not even ask if we needed a bag. Moreover, she just put the receipt on top of our purchases without looking at us. Her service was unacceptable.P.S. They had a few male employees to pull a large trolly with a lot of boxes on it and it blocked the main walkway. They told all the customers to leave as they were heading to us. They were discouraging people from browsing the store. They should only do that when the store was closed or quiet.

We purchased ready-made food for lunch and ate in the little eating cove in the corner of the store. The food was adequate at an affordable price. The lunch cove has limited seating for about 8 people but there's also a bit of room to stand and eat.While we didn't buy anything else from the grocery store, it appeared well stock with a large variety.

T&T Supermarket Chinatown Store
Now part of the Loblaws Chain as they bought this always interesting oriental supermarket about two years back. Service seems improved along with renovations that have been done to the bakery area and butcher shop. The fish shop features both live and butchered fish and is much improved from the past. The fruit and veg section is clean and offers a wide array of regular and exotic fruits. They also have a ready to eat section of hot food and a sushi section. All in all an interesting and fun place to shop and to take in some local colour!

Lots of good looking dim sums and Chinese bakery..but most of them does not have any taste…buy only branded package items not the in-house made food..

Security is not good. They want to check my bag and follow me all the way I am shopping. He make me not happy for the shopping so I am check out and go home. But when I am check out, he stand by the cashier, check my cash and look at me like a thief. I feel very angry about this and I think it's the last time I come to this location. Also all the food and drink in here really good but I will come farther than here to buy something.

This downtown T&T is closer to where I live, so I come here once or twice a week. This supermarket sells mostly Asian products. The quality and prices are good, but sometimes the origin of the produce is confusing. The cabbage has a sign that says product of China

Check your receipt before you leave to verify you are not being overcharged on items!!!!! If you are, go to the front counter to get a refund. I have noticed it seems to be a problem with this location and I am not certain they correct the price even after I draw it to their attention. For example, if something is posted as 1.99/lb, you multiply that by 2.20 to get the price per kg. So on your receipts it should show as 4.38/kg. I noticed I was overcharged on mangos, rambutan, pandan glutinous dessert, cherry tomatoes etc. If it is a Manager Special"

I usually shop there for all my Asian cooking needs. Veggies are always fresh and bakery items are always so delicious! Always creative with their cakes. Although its a bit pricey but it's worth it.
