Shoppers Drug Mart

I find the pharmacy staff at this location to be rude, judgmental and inept. The way they have treated my child saddens me. They judge people based on the medication they receive, and treat them differently because of it. That is just unkind.I also find it very odd and questionable that EVERY time she picks up the SAME prescription there is a different price. The medication hasn’t changed. The coverage has not changed….so why is it sometimes $20, sometimes $50, and sometimes there is no charge. When asked, their response is that it is always the same. Clearly it is not.Do yourself and your family a favour and find another pharmacy.

I am shocked by the pharmacy team.They are very friendly people however I have been inconvenienced every time I go in, and the problems reoccur every time. I picked up my normal prescription I have had for years to which they then realized they did not talk to me about my dose. (which has also not changed in the time I was using their pharmacy). Instead of calling myself which is the name on the prescription where my phone number is primary, they called my mom living in a different town absolutely shattering confidentiality. Luckily I don't mind my mom knowing as she has been aware of this medication since I started it, however I can imagine other people in their 20's under their parents benefits while they are in school, may not appreciate an incident like this.I have also gone in to pick up my prescription and they have then told me they used a different brand because they assumed" I was on that one

.......constant, simple, repeated problems...FAR too many to list .......no organization or logic here. Half the staff is sick...right now. Call customer care" at head office...meet a girl who should not be answering the phone at a business....and a language barrier that was likely intentionally placed there to hasten the brushing off procedure. I was stunned by her ignorance. Shopper's corp's performance is appalling.... across the board....it's a MIRACLE we get our scrips at all.One script later.....asked for delivery...waited ALL DAY....and AS USUAL it wasn't even loaded on the delivery vehicle. They are simply THE WORST.NO...I won't be dialing any phone numbers you offer. I learn from MY mistakes...unlike YOU. Your regular number is irritating enough...ringing...promises of someone picking up...ringing...the pathetic music fading in and out so one has no idea what is going on....plus your mandatory ramblings about "shots"...blah blah blah...unbelievable."

Had a great experience this afternoon with Samantha (Sam) at the make-up counter. I came in feeling tired and looking for a moisturizing concealer for dark circles under my eyes. She listened to me and took into account my skin tone and made a suggestion from the Smashbox line. She showed me how best to apply it, which I did from the tester(using a sanitary method) and wow! It looked and felt so bright and beautiful. Sam also suggested a highlighter for my cheeks, which I also purchased. Big thank you Sam!! You made my day!!

the worse pharmacy team I have ever seen! wait hours and hours for a perscription to he filled that was faxed in by the doctor only to go there 5 hours later and its not ready! this place deserves zero stars!! something should be done immediately! ridiculous!

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Beyond disappointed, when you have unhealthy kids the last thing you need to deal with is pharmacy problems. Hospital life and healthcare yes, that’s when you need your patience, but once you’ve been connected and on route to healing the last thing you need is a 2 hour wait for basic meds, or meds on backstock, or the worst waiting line, or missing components to your order etc. NOT ONCE have I been to this pharmacy without having a bad experience.Maybe I’m from a big city and am use to larger buildings with larger stock and more workers, but either way, something needs to change with their system.

Booked a rapid Covid test through the shoppers website. Showed up and was told they don’t do those. Pharmacy assistants did not ask the pharmacist, just insisted they couldn’t do it until I showed a screenshot of the booking. Then they asked the pharmacist and she said yes we can do it. Then through the entire 40 minute interaction they tried to suggest I was wrong about the kind of test I needed. I have never felt so condescended to in my life. Will never come back for anything!

I'm very mindful of their time and how busy they are, so I often times wait longer than they say it's going to be ready by, but they don't seem to be mindful of our time. Prescriptions are often not ready when I get there, and they are very rude and defensive, not friendly or apologetic. I don't think this is the pharmacists, but certain customer service workers.

Very poor experience here today at the pharmacy counter. Came in looking to fill a very common antibiotic for my 4 year old. Was abruptly told they don't have it, no explanation. Walked to Walmart, they at least explained it was backordered, and to try Coward PharmaChoice.Experience at Coward pharmacy was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Take note Shoppers - Coward called all other pharmacies in town, without luck, THEN called the hospital for a substitute and they filled it within minutes. This is amazing customer service, they have my business for life!

The staff went above an beyond to help me. I feel for them as someone who use to work in a pharmacy, I know people have very little patience after leaving the doctor's office and these guys really take the worst of it.Noone realizes the shear quantity of prescriptions these pharmacies are dealing with, I couldn't imagine working in a town like Tillsonburg where the population is aging while the staff try to handle quantities of prescriptions they've never had before.Knowing how doctor's offices often play the blame game when they haven't sent prescriptions and saying they have, dealing with benefits day in and out was the worst, companies are always trying to save a dollar causing them to bounce back over and over. Not to mention dealing with customers all day that are miserable and talk down to you.I truely think people should experience the job and then they would maybe understand everything pharmacies are dealing with.Either way I found them to be helpful. Took some extra time to explain things to me even though I could see they were swamped. This industry does not get enough credit!
