Shoppers Drug Mart

This review pertains very specifically to the post-office service. The store, excepting the post-office, offers very good service.On 26th November 2022 we were there at 10:37 to send 3 envelopes, 1 registered, 2regular. The post office manager Stella and her colleague were engaged in arguing loudly in front of clients and flustering their new colleague who appeared unable to focus on clients. Their behaviour led to the post office losing all our mail, including the registered mail. We would never recommend anyone to use this post office and Canada Post must take better action to train and equip their staff to actually perform their roles, particularly during this busy season as so many customers anxiously send important messages and parcels.

Friendly staff and nice offers with PC Optimum. You can get regular household items as well but at high prices, similar concept as of a gas station store. Other pharmacy products are good and pharmacy staff is also not too bad.

Tuesday January 10th, around 8-9pm I needed to purchase some facial skin cream; something I know nothing about. The kind young woman who greeted my at the door helped me purchase exactly what I needed.It was the first time that I can recall at any store where staff didn't try to upsell or move product. The kind cosmetic clerk helped my find exactly what I had asked for- an unscented, affordable facial cream. She even threw a free sample in my bag Unbeknownst to me.Normally I avoid Shoppers due to their higher prices, but with service like that, I will now reconsider where I shop.Sorry I cant provide the clerks name, as I didn't want to intrude; but whoever she is and whoever trained her are fantastic and deserving of recognition.Cheers.

The store manager Ammar is very rude. He made me go back and forth with returning an Item. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy here if they want to return in 30 days they will just find some excuse not to take it back!!

This has to be THE worst Pharmacy in all of MIssissauga, if not the GTA. Every month is the same thing, refills aren't refilled, deliveries are not made, you end up missing required doses every single time. I stood there and watched them call my old pharmacy and have it transferred up here because of it being closer to me, a week later and no meds I call and they have no clue what Im talking about. I call the original pharmacy to get them to refill it and they tell me they no longer have it, they sent it to this pharmacy. So now I'm here with no medication and no one knows where the hell it is. How can you expect to run a pharmacy and help people when you are so lax about everything you do? This has consequences for people's health and is unacceptable. When you call to complain they hang up on you, don't go there!

Good store with very nice people working there who love to help when asked with a question about product

Lauren at the cosmetic section helped me choose a good replacement for my current eyeliner. They are very polite and very often found interacting with the other shoppers as well, striving to provide excellent customer service. The other staff at the store have also always been approachable and ready to help.

Unable to shop in peace in the cosmetics department of the store. Disappointed by treatment I received while looking for a foundation shade for my mom. As I began looking around--and told the employee I was doing so, they immediately hovered above me. There was no space to breathe as I looked through the different shades. My mom was in the pharmacy section so I wanted to quickly shade match the product on her. As I tried to bring the shade over for her to look at while she waited at the pharmacy counter, the employee immediately snatched the product (also tried to hold onto another product from outside of the dept. in my hands without my request) and told me that I could not bring the product outside of the dept., even temporarily. The hovering, tone, and overall hyper surveillance insinuated that I was being viewed as a thief. I HAVE NEVER STOLEN ANYTHING IN MY LIFE. Even if there is a store policy, then that must be kindly communicated by employees to customers, with other forms of strong messaging posted throughout the dept.. Your cosmetics shopping will be more enjoyable at the neighbouring Canadian Superstore, Walmart, beauty supply store, or Sephora.

The Pharmacy staff here are extremely rude. Emil especially is aggressive and confrontational -- truly hateful. If he does not like you, your 'faxed' prescription or refill will magically be 'missed' or your prescription cancelled. Him and his co-workers can be spiteful and make you wait 40+ minutes for a simple refill prescription with nobody else in line. The Store Manager seems to avoid any customer complaints and appears to be 'friends' with the Pharmacy staff. I had never filed a formal complaint before, but this time I did, I called the Head Office, but nothing was done. This store is 2 minutes from me and I refuse to shop there now.
