I have been hesitant to have my hair cut for quite some time. My coworkers have been referring me to the local malls where they have their haircut. The two places I went, immediately gave me a feeling of red flags but to avoid being rude, I went forward with the haircut. Both of which combined, took about 10 minutes. And from both, I left feeling like an ungly duck with my feathers randomly plucked with my broken quills left in my remaining feathers. Clippings left in my ears, my neck, and in the corners of my eyeducts.Then, I discovered on my own a salon a short walk from my work. With positive reviews online, I decided to check it out. Upon entering, the ambiance was immediately welcoming. I was a bit early for my appointment but was cheerfully greeted and immediately offered a comfortable seat. Shortly thereafter, I was kindly interviewed to meet at an understanding, how, I would like my overgrown mop of hair to be trimmed. Although I washed my hair in anticipation for a trim, I was led to the hairwash station for the most relaxing hair and scalp massage before my trim. I felt all my anxiety melt away with the lather as my hair was carefully rinsed with water that I could almost not feel by the way the temperature was perfectly set. I knew I was in the right place when she began my trim. No tugging, no scraping my head with the combs or brushes, just gentle and precise clipping with incredibly sharp scissors that cut through my coarse hair like it was fuzz. I wish I had more hair so I could sit there longer. When my cut was done, over to the wash station for another, incredibly relaxing wash and scalp massage! I could have floated away. Sadly, my trim was done and she had to dry my hair. I have never had such voluminous and silky hair cut precisely how I wanted it and not one broken quill to be found on me! I cannot express enough how pleased I am with my day at Square Hair Salon. Finally this ugly duck, got a cut that makes me feel like a grand old swan. Thank you Vickie and the beautiful staff for your professionalism and pride in providing your service to this very particular client. I highly recommend to anyone as particular as me, the perfection and professionalism in your services!I can't wait until my hair gets longer now!Gerard J Morcilla
