Stopped to get something to eat at the restaurant. Place was busy and no tables available. We sat at the counter for 10 min with not even a hello. A table opened up and we sat at it knowing the table still needed clearing. The brunet waitress yells across the room DONT SIT THERE I HAVENT CLEANED THE TABLE". Then an evil eye and before we could even stand up she yelled it again with an even bigger death stare and shoulder shrug. Talk about unwelcoming to travelers. We walked out

Hiked all morning in Algonquin. Stopped in for takeout. Had ruebin on rye with fries. Wife had the soup and turkey sandwich. Food was hot and tasty. Hit the spot.

Great staff, amazing service. We stopped there because it was recommended and it was. Anyone having issues that's a self reflection on how you went it. Many people confuse entitlement with resistance. We had a great conversation with the operator while we waited for our food. The food was amazing. We were only tourists passing by but we're treated like locals. Food was hot, fresh, very tasteful and definitely home cooked. Would be my first stop if I was in the area again. Thanks !

The staff was so unbelievably kind in answering my questions and helping me out. They were just genuinely really good people. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a business of any kind.

Stopped for gas and a quick take out lunch of Burgers , Chicken Fingers and Fries. It was quick and good. Picnic tables out side.

I'm sure they are really nice but I had an odd experience. Went in to buy cigarettes for my in laws and immediately I was asked for ID. Now I'm a 34 year old mixed race woman and normally I'd find this flattering but I had forgotten my id at our campsite and told the guy at the desk I didn't have it. He told me he can't sell it to me. I then said I guess ill have to get my Caucasian husband to come in and he said OK and I left. My husband walked in and he didn't ask for his ID and didn't say a word to him just passed his the cigarettes and that was it. I just found it really odd they asked me but not him.....

Don’t waste your time here. Advertises full service gas. You pay full service price. They don’t actually provide full service (of any kind). I went in to inquire whether someone was going to pump my gas and the woman at the counter was so busy chit-chatting with someone that she didn’t even acknowledge my presence. I left. Won’t ever bother with them again…. and I’m in Whitney weekly!
