Dr. Madison Montgomery is an amazing veterinarian. She is kind, compassionate and when our dog was dealing with illness in the final months of his life she was always willing to move things around or stay late to see him for emergency appointments. I wish we had switched vets earlier, but I am glad we switched so he had great care for the last few months we had with him.The compassion Dr. Madison and her staff displayed for our dog and our family when we had to put him down was very appreciated. She is still our vet for our other dog and she has been just as compassionate and understanding with his concerns. We live 30 minutes away and will gladly keep making the drive for the care VCA Dalhousie and Dr. Montgomery provide. Thanks again for all your kindness in that very tough time in our lives.

I'm not really a fan of these big chains... but I just take my pet to Dalhousie Varsity because of Dr. Amy. She is very clear with explaining the pet's issue. She is pet driven and always gives me the best options, taking the best interest of my pet. I wouldn't trust anyone else the health of my pets. Totally recommend Dr. Amy.

My husband and I have not needed a vet since we moved back to YYC two years ago, until yesterday. I was directed to Dalhousie Vet NW, by someone and I can not tell you , how incredibly amazing they are there !! Megan at the front desk was so friendly and kind. She greeted us as soon as we walked into the clinic and immediately greeted our sweet old Twiggy! We were concerned for Twiggys health and she told us we were in great hands with Dr.Madison Montgomery! Boy oh boy , was Megan right ! Dt. Madison was extremely thorough with her exam of twiggy , making our little ball of nerves calm and relaxed .She gave us many options , from the lest invasive and cost effective to the most extreme, to which she said there was no point going extreme at first . It was refreshing to see that she didn’t push the more expensive treatments.. and in-fact Dr. Madison suggested the least expensive option first . Turns out our little gal is as healthy as a horse, especially for her age (13.5 yrs ) and turns out she just had a little stomach bug !I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND, these lovely humans to look after our most precious family members . Well done ladies ! Thanks you so very much !!

Dr. Amy has been our vet for a number of years now, we followed her from her previous clinic with our previous dog. She is kind and knowledgeable, understanding the difficulty of decisions when it comes to pet health. She went above and beyond with our previous dog’s care until we had to put her down, and she supported us without judgement through that sad process. We are excited to be back at the clinic with our new family member who we rehomed this summer. When we were looking at rehoming I called the clinic for advice and Dr. Amy called me back the next day and we spoke for at least 30 minutes, discussing the questions I had and offered her advice. If you’re looking for a place to become part of your pet’s healthcare family, this is the place!

We have been bringing our cats here for about 3 years. I highly recommend Dr. Brooke, they are so knowledgeable and very friendly. Dr. Brooke even set up a demo for us with another cat so we could learn how to use a mask for asthma on our cat! :)

Very friendly staff. Dr.Sarah Ondrich was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and understanding. She took her time and answers all of our question. She allowed my daughter to take part in our kitty's examination.I am very happy with my first visit.

What an incredible experience! We see Dr. Sarah Ondrich, and she is amazing on both a professional and personal level. You can really tell she wants what is best for your animal, and her knowledge regarding her practice is a testament to that. Can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for a vet/clinic this is the place to go.

Almost lost our dog. I brought my dog to see the vet with what I knew was something wrong. He was lethargic, stopped eating. It was on a Friday so I wanted to avoid a hospital visit. The vet told us he had a small infection of some sort and he was fine with a follow up that if he wasn't better in two weeks to bring him back in. Over the weekend he struck a fever and we took him to hospital where his blood platlets were down to 4 (normal is in hundreds) and temp was 101. They told us he would have died if we waited much longer. They write things off too quickly without proper investigation.
