We love Sushi Kobo! It’s the only place we go for sushi here in the valley. The family that owns it is so kind and the food is just amazing.

Best place to get sushi in Comox. Authentic Japanese cuisine and wild fish is served here. Take out recommended but you can eat in. The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is small town cozy. Check out their Instagram for updates. Probably the best you will have in comox for sure.

Sadly we didn't enjoy the food from Kobo. I was excited to eat sushi from a Japanese owned restaurant. The sashimi pieces were HUGE and over proportioned to rice underneath, the rice was dry, and the rolls were obscure. They included the salmon skin roll in their assorted sushi tray. That's kind of silly. I'm sure people enjoy that roll but that is the last thing I would put on an assorted tray considering it's basically a way of using their food scraps from grilling salmon and wouldn't be what someone would expect when ordering, again, an assorted sushi tray. I think they mean well and I wish I had felt better about my experience. I'm sorry for posting a mostly negative review but we really weren't pleased.

Awesome sushi, great prices! We were so hungry we had to dive in early before taking a picture! The favourite rolls for us were the original yam roll and the salmon roll, also great agedashi tofu! We ordered ahead for take out, it was ready exactly when they said! Will return.

Staff members here are incredibly friendly and polite. The atmosphere is cheerful and calming. It is one of the better sushi restaurants in Comox Valley, and somewhere I frequent often for a tasty lunch or a quick dinner. I have immense respect for everyone there and strongly recommend trying Sushi Kobo at least once.

Amazingly good food. My wife is a sushi fanatic, so after moving here a few weeks ago we tried Sushi Kobo, and were really pleased with how delicious everything was. I've tried a few of their non-sushi dishes too, and they've all been equally amazing. Prices are really reasonable too, especially for the amount of food you get. We'll definitely be eating here often!They have also implemented new policies for COVID-19 safety, and are enforcing them in a great way while still being very polite to their customers.

It's OK if you feel the urge,but I have had better in the Valley.Rice was on the dry side,Tuna sashimi cuts were huge,while Salmon sashimi cuts were small.Price on the high side, compared to what you get. Again I'm comparing to others in the valleySmall seating outside.Not liquor licensed
