Fish Creek Library

Fish Creek library is one of my favorite library in Calgary I will always there! They hv a lot free programs for kids. My daughter used to hv birthday party in their event room as well. Awesome staffs working with passion and helpful.

Definitely the most unique library in Calgary. It's quite large and there's plenty of space. Selection is one of the better one's in Calgary.

I’ve been attending Baby Rhyme Time on Tuesday mornings. Michelle and Nisha are both so wonderful and warm. It’s so much fun watching all the babies interact with each other and their environment. I highly recommend signing up. It’s free and it gets you out of the house and doing something. Much appreciated when on maternity leave!

Nice library with cool architecture and friendly staff, but it's absolutely miserable whenever there's a group of children around. There is way too much yelling to properly read or study anything with the amount of noise echoing throughout the building.I would probably recommend making sure there's no events for children happening during your visit to minimize any issues regarding this.

I don't know how they can continue to call this place a library when they've closed the silent reading room and now there is nowhere to sit you can't hear screaming children.

Pretty good selection but it's usually quite noisy. It's easier to read at the shopping mall across from it.

Great open spaces, interesting architecture with lots of books. Also a wonderful play space for the kids. As we left my kids said “that was super awesome!”

I booked a room for an online job interview at 1:30 p.m. and I was late, did not arrive until 1:47 when I noticed the room was being used by someone else. I was told the room would be open to others after that time, which is fine, I understand. I was told there was a room available to be booked off and was then told I couldn't book it because I have an active booking".I had no other choice but to do my interview on the third floor which was really loud with kids crying and my interviewer asking if I could move to a quieter space but I had no where else to go. Not sure how kids crying constitutes as "learning" in anyone's eyes.I went to (this) library thinking it was a better environment than home but I was dead wrong. Choose another library if you need a quiet space. No chance of me coming back to this place

There's a peacefulness to this place. Nevermind that it has one of the most unique and fun designs in the city. I love curling up with a good book for a few hours or working on my own books there. Ten out of ten; would go again!
