What a lovely find in Fernie! Tucked away on the backside of the old train station... delightful brunch and owner. We had the shirred eggs which were DEVINE!!!! you must go! folks at the other table ordered the mimosa flight which looked fab!

I've eaten here multiple times and it's just a great place to be. Everything on the menu is delicious (the poke bowl being my favorite!) plus the staff are all incredible and friendly. They have so many cool custom cocktails which is hard to find in Fernie. And they also have a dog friendly patio in the summers which is a huge bonus. I highly recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it!

Whether you're looking for brunch, lunch, or delicious and innovative cocktails, The Blue Toque is the perfect place to go in Fernie! There is a large selection of mouthwatering dishes on the menu, all of which are crafted with high-quality ingredients - and as I've eaten my way through a lot of the menu, I can personally confirm this. The dishes and cocktails not only taste amazing, but they are also so beautiful that you can't help but take photos! Fernie is very fortunate to have such a great restaurant, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Blue Toque Gastro Diner
A cute place for brunch situated inside the art gallery/railway station. It has OEB breakfast chain vibes with Asian inspired dishes too. The presentation was nice. You could stuff your own bao buns with beef Brisket and a bunch of veggie toppings including kimchi. They also have creative classics like poached eggs on English muffins and waffles with neat toppings like candied jalepeno and fig jam. Tasted great.

I cannot say enough about this diner. It was our first time here & from the moment we walked up the stairs onto the patio until the end of our time at the diner it was amazing. We were promptly greeted with kindness & we had our dog with us as well - the human who greeted us also gave the warmest, sweetest welcome to our dog which was so lovely. The service was 10/10 the food was incredible & the cocktails were exquisite. The music was at perfect volume and the scenery was fantastic. Thanks for such a wonderful brunch, can’t wait to visit again.

Wow wow wow. The menu is fantastic and the Lotus Bowl I had scored a fantastic amazeballs. One of the nicest dining experiences I've had during our trip to Fernie. My recommendation is find this place and enjoy your experience. Update: wow how do I add +1. My boxer loved the fact that she could join us on the deck. Thanks guys fantastic.

Blue toque is a cool, charming diner. Blue Toque has consistently delivered great breakfast, brunch and lunch. Despite some statements on other reviews, our service there has been excellent. We arrived late in the day for a meal on our last visit, but were not rushed out even though we were the last patrons. The atmosphere is rustic but chic. The mimosa flights are superb. The food is high quality. Artwork from local artists is displayed on the walls and is for sale. This place is good for a family yet is also appropriate for a date. I'm a frequent tourist in Fernie and will happily return to Blue Toque on a future visit.

Shockingly beyond normal particularly the Asian inspired dishes. Bimbap has all the right details and pickle combo with kimchee and fixings.

Cute spot, had a lovely time sitting on the patio and watching the trains go by, the waitstaff were all wonderful, but I was a little bit disappointed by the food. It wasn't bad, I was just underwhelmed by the flavour.
