Mechanics were very rude and pessimistic. Overpriced. Charged me twice as much for a tow two months apart from the same location. Charged me twice as much as Canadian tire for the same parts.

I have had nothing but positive experience with Newell's. Always friendly and helpful. Provided fixes to simple solutions that others couldn't figure out or would've tried to fleece me for more repairs.

While camping at Charleston Lake I noticed some fluid on my front rim. Stopped in to Newell's and the mechanic came out and crawled underneath. Could not find any problems. No charge, and piece of mind for my trip home. Thanks.

Our van broke down on the highway. Luckily we were able to make it to the garage. They took care of us, taking a look at the van and Wyatt broke down, and gave us a quick estimate. They were able to fix it for the Friday when we were going back home. And the van drives well again.

They are wonderful. When you think of the people you drive, Newell's takes care of your car so you can take care of them. I would not go anywhere else.

Newell's is top notch. Alan patiently checked tire prices for me multiple time over several days and ended up getting me significantly better pricing than could be found elsewhere. Delivery was actually early, and the job was done right away. I went with the popular BF Goodrich KO2s, and they are perfectly balanced and look solid. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was camping at Charleston Lake PP, and noticed a slow leak in my back tire. Asked around and this was the only garage close by. I went in and was immediately greeted by a mechanic. I told him my situation and he said he could fit me in, or I could come back after lunch. I chose to go back. I also noticed a number of thank you's on the wall as well was a 25 years in business" plaque on the wallI was back at 12:55

My husband and I were on our way to Cape Breton. It was the first day on the road. We were pulled over by a guardian angel, in the the form of an OPP officer, who advised us we had a problem with our boat trailer tire. It had delaminated and we were headed for a blow out. He pointed us to Newell’s Garage. Great place! Great people! Turns out both tires were headed in the same direction. They fixed us up in short order, charged reasonable rates and had us back on the road in no time. Highly recommend this place if you experience service issues and are in the Lansdowne, Ontario area.
