I’ve had two great experiences with Ashnat now. 5 years ago with a Mazda 3 and a dying alternator - I went there based on great reviews and was not disappointed - they fixed the issue quickly and their rate was super reasonable. Recently the alternator in my Ford Focus died on a Sunday. They took me in on the very next day. By 1pm they had replaced the alternator and the final cost was actually cheaper than their quote! They only charged me for an hour and a half labour when job was more than 90 minutes. I had also asked them to check out an issue with one of the battery terminal connectors and they fixed it for free.Believe every review here that speaks to the honesty and integrity of these guys. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great shop with great people.I took an alternator off a boat there as it appeared to be over-charging and possibly had a bad regulator.They tested it out, found no issues, and took the time to suggest a few other things to test - all for free.Refreshing to find a pleasant, honest business.Not exactly hoping that I *need* to buy anything electrical for the boat (or car) in the near future, but I will definitely be returning to these folks if/when I do.

I came here 3 years ago when I was in a pinch, owner overhauled my starter in the same day. Last week I was in the same position with a different car, brought my starter in 2h before closing, he rebuilt it before he closed down for the day…. And he once again saved the day. This guy knows his stuff. You can’t replace experience!

I’ve had 2 alternators rebuilt by the good folks at Ashnat, and I initially went there based on the reviews that I read online. Ugen, the owner, is kind, patient, and a consummate professional. I’ve never come away feeling like I was judged or spoken down to, and I’ve always felt that Ugen sincerely cares about his customers and the services that he provides.He gets the job done fast (often same day turn around), and the work is top notch and very affordable. I will never go anywhere else for alternator or starter repairs, and I’m happy to be able to support such a great independent business.On another note, don’t be seduced by shiney, inexpensive, replacement alternators that come from overseas, as the cheap usually comes out expensive in the long run. You will likely never get a better part than was originally on your car when it was manufactured, and these original parts are usually well worth rebuilding. My original Bosch alternators average about 225,000 km of service before they require a rebuild, and you won’t get that kind of quality or longevity from a cheapo aftermarket part.Thanks Ugen, and the good folks at Ashnat; I appreciate your professionalism and great work.

It was a Friday afternoon and I needed my car for the weekend. They were able to accommodate me last minute and replaced my starter in about one and a half hours. Very friendly and great prices.They were referred to me by Stan's Transmissions (another great business) and I was happy to see they had great reviews before I called. It's a very unassuming little shop but I definitely recommend them after the service I got!

Been there before for a starter many years ago. Needed an alternator for my cousins car today. It was great to see even till this day they have been painless and straight forward. More importantly reasonable prices and friendly dealing with Ashnat.

Got a rebuilt alternator here almost a year ago. The guy was really friendly and helpful; he tested my alternator and showed me what was going on with it. He explained how alternators work, which parts commonly wear out and based on the part that isnt working whether I should replace or repair the alternator.

Very helpful guys when calling the shop. They were able to tell me what parts I needed, were fairly priced and worked with no issues. They also delivered to the mechanic nearby where my car was being worked on. Exceeded my expectations.
