The best butcher shop in the area in my opinion. Considering the quality of the products that are sold, the prices are reasonable. This is not a shop to go to if you are looking to buy a 6 dollar steak that is as tough as leather. The selection is also great, as they sell everything from chicken breast to wagyu beef. Everything you get from Elmwood Meat Market has the potential to impress.

I’ll start with the staff by saying they are great.As for the shop it’s in need of a reno. I found it dusty everywhere and water spots in the ceiling tiles is never a nice thing to see when you are purchasing food of any kind. As someone who frequently works in food industry as a service technician it’s never a good sign if the owner can’t see this.

Very disappointed in this meat for this expensive price. We went in the summer and purchased many steaks and sausages for our house warming party and it turned out to be the most dry meat ever and we like rare to medium rare bbq meat. Sausages were total saw dust and nobody could eat them. The steaks were also dry, chewy and no taste. Given the high price and large quantities of meat we bought we would never try again. Customer service was also dismissive to us as new customers and just catered to their existing regulars it seemed.

I bought some sausages and meat bones for soup at this location on two different occasions. Both times I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the meat! It has a terrible taste and smell and were most definitely old!! Wouldn’t recommend coming here! My family and I used to get our meat here all the time but as of recent it has been awful.

My dinner party was a hit all because of Elmwood Meats…I personally am a vegetarian and with the amazing compliments from my guests about the French cut veal roast that Ali prepared for me, I was almost tempted to eat it myself! I also appreciated the clear instructions and suggestions on what to serve with it! Highly recommended.

Best butcher shop and food market in Port Credit and possibly in Mississauga. More expensive than the supermarket but much, MUCH better quality and service. The chicken breasts are cheaper than most supermarkets and are way better. Ask for them seasoned for less work and amazing flavour. The rib steaks, burgers and other meats are great as well. I haven't had anything I wasn't amazed with. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

When I'm cooking to impress, I get my meats from Elmwood Meat Market!Small business with massive quality! Started coming for their excellent selection of grass-fed beef products. They can also cut fresh meat to custom portions.Staff are knowledgeable and can makr suggestions on what to get and how to cook it.Have since enjoyed more niche products like Osso Bucco, wagyu burgers, seafood, and game meat like Bison.I'm not often in Port Credit, but when I am I try to stock up at Elmwood meats!
