Not so smart front desk person, Dr and staff are absolutely rude..do an eye test, they tell you need glasses but don't give you the rx. Definetly not going back.

Booked a free laser eye consultation at Western Eye Associates. Very detailed exams and Toni was very thorough and went through all the risks. After this I saw Dr.Penno who was very knowledgable and explained everything again and told me I was qualified for surgery. Booked a surgery for ten days later and so far the experience has been wonderful. Still in recovery mode. Would recommend for sure!

The doctors there have been friendly and kind. Don't know what changed.The receptionist named Toni was very rude and abrupt. Her time was the most valuable, so she couldn't let us finish our questions.

If there was zero stars i would have selected that.Dr. Anderson Penno, was my eye doctor for two years. She is very dry and cold, not a doctor that makes you feel comfortable. But not rude.I had full cataract in my left eye, and she mentioned that i should wait till my right eye is severly impaired prior to undergoing surgery.In one of the visits, i mentioned that its really impactig my quality of life. She casually mentioned that I had a clot in my left eye and that a cataract surgery wouldnt do anything. Asked about alternatives, she firmly said there are none as she ushered me out.I was shocked, as she never flagged this issue in any of my previous visits. The diagnosis devistated me.I decided to get other opinions, all of which flagged that i have no clot. I did catarct on both my eyes, which got my full vision back(without even prescription glasses!). I am enjoying some quality time with my granddaughter now.She made the diagnosis with conducting any of her on tests. For such a sever diagnosis, you would this atleast a duendeligence test would be conducted.Thankfully i seeked another opinion.

I had such a fabulous experience with everyone at the clinic; Dr. Penno was thorough and explained every procedure to me, Shawna was an absolute angel, and Dr. Senekal was great. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and now I can see without glasses or contacts!! If you've been putting off eye surgery or talking yourself out of it, this is your sign to book a consult with Western Laser Eye Associates for SMILE surgery!!! 10/10!!

Staff, including the doctor, are very kind and thorough. Very comfortable given all of the covid protocols in place, including masks and face shields, hand sanitizer and temperature checks at the door. Would recommend to anyone with eye issues or anyone needing a regular ophthalmologist!

I was referred to the clinic from a friend of mine as I was looking for a new eye doctor. The clinic is easy to find and had lots of street parking out front. I was impressed with their COVID protocols and had a good appointment with Dr. Nowlan. The next morning I woke up with pink eye, which I have never had before, and called the office to see Dr. Nowlan. I was told she wasn't in, there weren't any other doctors available, and she could possibly get me in later in the week. The receptionist was very rude and abrupt and I told her that I would be going to call my family doctor.After talking to my family doctor, I was told that pink eye is an indicator of COVID and to do the assessment on the AHS website. I was then told to get a COVID test and had to make a special trip to get this done and was told to self isolate until the results came in, I am negative. I thought I should call the office to let them know and I asked to speak to Dr Nolan and the same rude receptionist took my name and number. I then received a call from the office manager as I was told that Dr Nolan doesn't take calls, and she was also rude and unapologetic. She kept telling me that she will let the doctor know and was talking over me, and all I wanted to let her know was of my experience. I am very disappointed with the administrators at this office and the was I was treated.
